The first thing everyone is talking about is that the plot will return in Li Yue. This means one thing, that the old area will be visibly refreshed!

Update 2.4 is expected around January 2022.

Update 2.4 comes after the update from Arataki Itto and is planned for January next year. This is very early information, collected bit by bit and from the words of insiders. May be more likely to change.

Yun Jin will appear in 2.4.

Yun Jin is currently an NPC in Genshin Impact, and is currently hanging out at Heyu's tea house. She is known for her amazing opera performances, which are very much loved in Li Yue.

Recent leaks of the game's voice lines have revealed that many of Li Yue's characters are praising singing ability and elegant stage presence. Yun Jin. She is described as the most popular performer in the region, but still modest off-screen.

Abilities Yun Jin not yet revealed, but there are speculations that she may be the first Dendro character in the game.

New area Rift

Fault is the richest and largest mine in Li Yue.

Prior to the closing of the Rift, its territory was the place of work for many people. Due to the rich ore deposits, the Rift was the main mine for the extraction and sale of jade in the region.

Esther notes that the climate in the Rift is significantly different from that of the rest of Li Yue, but does not provide any details on this.

At the moment, this location is not available in the game and is displayed on the map as a black area.

Possibly Shen He

Shen He was originally discovered in Genshin Impact before the Inazuma update, but then almost all traces of her were removed from the game code. However, since the 2.2 update, these traces have returned in abundance. As Inazuma's expansion progresses, suspicion grows that she will be released in Genshin Impact ⁠ - at least after that main story arc is completed. Since Shen He will not be in version 2.3, it is more likely that she will appear in 2.4.

Since her name means "Crane God", many suspected that her abilities might be related to the Guardian of the Clouds in Li Yue, and the leaked voice message confirmed something. However, at the moment this is all speculation, without any reliable details from miHoYo.

Joint competition?

Competitive players will be thrilled with this new feature, namely the possibility of competition between other players. There have been suggestions that it could be a board game, or maybe something more like an arena battle.
