Deus Ex - one of the first cult cyberpunk first-person shooters with RPG elements. The hero, a man-machine named JC Denton, is at the very center of a worldwide conspiracy, while simultaneously fighting terrorists. Events are developing in the 50s of the 21st century - during the period of technological disasters and the pandemic of the incurable "Grey Death". Now about how to penetrate most computers - for this you need to either have a username and password (Login, Password), or have very high hacking skills. I would recommend that you increase this particular indicator of the main character, since you can deal with enemies in different ways, and it is still better to hack computers (hack), and not run around for half a day looking for suitable codes and passwords. Don't forget to enter computers in a timely manner and turn off security cameras and machine guns. By the way, you can set the machine guns to "attack all" and then they will shoot all your enemies that are in their line of sight. Heal and repair with the help of medical and repair bots. In addition, with the help of them you can install new abilities (augmentation) for yourself, only for this you will need to collect a few necessary items. Don't forget to complete the training mission as there you will be able to master all the basic tools you will need here. And always have a large supply of master keys and multitools (lockpick, multitool) with you if you do not want to fumble around all the neighboring rooms. Constantly search the corpses of your enemies - you can find a lot of interesting things. Learn to navigate with a compass and maps that will be sent to you from time to time. All tasks that you will receive are recorded in a special menu - do not forget to check with them, and all conversations are also recorded. So you can always scroll through any of the conversations you had before. It is always mandatory to complete the main tasks (Primary Goal), but all the secondary ones can sometimes be omitted. Therefore, I will not always describe the performance of secondary tasks. Always try to make as little noise as possible, because guards will always run to him, and then your fate is 90 percent sealed. Of course, if you are incredibly cool, then you can bring down everyone in a row and always go through the main gate, do not run from anyone and take out absolutely everyone in the style of a la Quake, but this is only if you have enough skill. But I still wouldn't recommend doing it. After all, towards the end of the game, you will still have to get into serious trouble, whether you like it or not.

Mission 1

Talk to Paul (he will run up to you) and choose one of the options for additional weapons that he will offer you. Look at the map, now move on. Talk to the guard, an agent will contact you soon and tell you the password "Iron and copper". Go to the northern docks and talk to the man there, on the left in the house. He will give you a photo of the main terrorist. Talk to the woman in the corner, now you need to go to the statue and climb to the very top. Mission 2



Get a photo from a female agent - study it. Soon you will meet a boy who will tell you the code (9183), but first give him something to eat. This code goes to the machine behind you. To do this, go further, take part in a shootout in front of a large building, talk to the cops, with Anna. Now go to the subway (Subway Station Battery Park) and save the hostages here. You can use a special grenade that interferes with the operation of electronic devices in order to get over the laser field. Kill all the terrorists and talk to the hostages. Return to Castle Clinton and talk to your partner. Come inside, into the central house inside. Open the doors with a lockpick or multitool. If you turn off the field, then you will pass along the walkways, they will collapse, and you will find yourself in the water. Swim into the hole in the floor, then up the stairs, open the hatch. There will be a couple of small robots right behind the blockage, blow them up or try to quickly, quickly slip past them. You are close to the base. Kill some terrorists inside the base, approach the green canister. After that, go up to the second floor, kill the terrorists in the toilet, take the key and open the locked door with the key ring. Mission 5

And you need to get into “Flight Control Decks 1”, and not into “Flight Control Decks 2”. Press the "weapons lock" button and after that run to the hangar to the helicopter. The helicopter will destroy the south gate, a robot will appear - kill it and go to "EXIT". In the elevator, press the "door" button, then "down".

Wan Chai Market.

Go down the stairs, where you will soon meet Maggie Chow - get ready for battle. Use the console and enter the code (525). The explosion will open a passage - go there. Put on a protective suit, if you have one, of course. Go through the tunnel, jump into the water, kill the alligator, swim on. Sail to Canal Road. Go to Tong's lab and talk to him there. Mission 7


New York Hell's Kitchen.

Go to the stairs, get a message from Tong. Now go to the Underworld Tavern and meet Harley Filber there. Talk to the soldier at the bar. Get out of here and go to the Free Clinic. Kill Joe Greene, although this is not absolutely necessary. Head to the ruined building and talk to Stanton Dowd there. It will give you two images. You need to stock up on five grenades. To do this, go to Smuggler - go down the stairs, to the right of the subway entrance. There will be a door with a code - click on the console and you will automatically say the password (bloodshot). Pay for the grenades (if you don't have enough money, then try to hack the ATMs in the hotel or somewhere else) and go up to the roof of the hotel. Mission 8

Naval Base.

Get the message - find the grate in the wall, open it, crawl inside. A new message. A soldier will approach you and give you the key to the main gate. Open them with the key ring and get a couple more messages. Go to the command office, open the lock with a multitool or break the window. Read the datacube (code to the east warehouse 2249, login - walton, password - simons). Go to the faucet, next to it there is an entrance. Break the lock if you don't have the code. At the very top of the crane, press the button, get over to the roof, smash the hatch out of something and crawl into the ventilation system. Get to the huge fan, go down the stairs. There are a lot of security "spiders" here. Open the grate, climb into the passage, another grate, jump onto the ship. You need to go down to the lower decks. But first, go up to the next floor. There are: "sick bay", "electric bay", "armory". There is a datacube in the sick bay (the code in the engineering bridge is 9753). Grab the key that unlocks the lower decks. Here, open the grate and crawl into the electric bay. Read datacube (83353) and now go to armory. Here, look for a new code (71324), also pick up the appropriate ammunition and weapons. Rise to the next floor. Hack the secret terminal: disable cameras and other security systems. In the bridge area, read the datacube (65678) and take the key. Go to the captain's cabin (65678), find the code (71324), the key and (login - kzhao, password - captain) there. Get down to the very bottom to the large locked door. Use the key ring on it. In the engineering room (see the plan of the ship), find the inscription "causion tri-weld seam" on the wall. Blow it up with either a rocket or a grenade. Mission 9


Paris.

The task is to meet with the leader of the Illuminati, but for a start it would be nice to go down to earth. Hack the elevator terminal and go down. You can not hack, but enter the code 4003, it is behind a locked door in the next room. At the bottom, go up the stairs and meet up with Ami. Will give a code (0001). Go further (behind the radiation zone), then down the stairs. Go through all the catacombs, up the stairs, open the hatch - you will find yourself on the street. Open the doors of the house "14". Talk to Dafoe (he is to the left of the entrance) and move on. Kill the guard bot and soldiers. Now Dafoe will sell you things much cheaper. Go to the catacombs (opposite the house "14") and break the boards in the doorway. Next to the stairs you will find a datacube that will have a map of the catacombs on it. Tong will send you several messages. Follow the map to "bunker 1" (silhouette hideout). At the wall with inscriptions, click on the brick and go into the opened passage. Talk to everyone here, but especially the leader, Chad. He will give you a key and a photo. Now go to "bunker 2" (open the door to that area with the key ring). Go further to Bunker 3. Next to it, you can blow up the gate, then a repair bot will arrive, from which you can recharge. Go behind the laser field, kill the agents in bunker 3, find the key and terminal here. Get to the end of it and go into the pipes (carefully! there are cops everywhere!).


Mission 10


Message from Everett - he will send you the plan of the temple. Climb the stairs and go through the main gate (as usual, there are several options for passing them - for example, you can go up to the second floor and find the keeper's key. Go back, open the gate. Or use a master key. Or you can break a window in a neighboring building and jump already outside the gate). Go further down the alley. Enter the temple, open the doors with a master key and move on. Here you need to get to Monk's Quarters (see the map). When you arrive, you will receive a new message from Tong. From there, go to the roof, to the library, take the key from the table. Find the datacube with codes here. Find the entrance to the dungeon and kill Gopher in the room with the computer console. After that, enter the codes (login - 34501, password - 08711) and click the "establish system uplink" button. Leave the computer room, and in general - leave the temple. Head towards the subway entrance. Go downstairs and talk to Toby Atanwe. Accept his offer. You will find yourself in Everet's house. Find the key on the floor, go down, there will be two laboratories. In one, talk to Alex Jacobs. In the same room, read the datacube. Log in to the computer (login - meverett, password - pynchon). There are codes here that can help you get some good stuff. Now go to the second laboratory and talk to Morgan Everett. He will give you the key. Go to the helicopter pad. The door there is in the same place where the one who brought you here is standing. Get in the helicopter and fly away. Yes, you can first look for mechanics here, then talk about them with Everett, then go back and kill them. I didn't, and maybe a little later (on the last mission) my helicopter exploded.



Mission 11


Vandenberg Command Complex.

Talk to the scientist. She will give you the plan of the base. Climb down from the roof or down ledges or stairs (security cameras, machine guns will be waiting for you on the stairs ...). Go to the southwestern part of the base and enter the code into the console (5868). Part of the energy must be restored. Now go to the main building, behind the laser field - to the laboratory. Talk to the scientist. She will tell you the code (login - command, password - zebra42). Here you can also talk to a scientist who knows the code to the tunnel (login - tunnel01, password - omega2a). Go to the laboratory (it is flooded), turn off the electricity and get to the terminal (login - tunnel01, password - omega2a). Here turn off all cameras, guns. From the main hall go north. At the end of the hall, find the second console (big yellow box) and turn on all the electricity (5686). Now you have restored the power supply and you can open the doors of the bunker. Now go outside and go to the robot hangar. There, press two buttons and the military bots will quickly kill the four security robots. If you have not turned on the energy, then you will have to extinguish four hefty robots yourself. It's better to turn on the power. After destroying the worthless pieces of iron, you will receive a new message. Go to the communication center (next to the bot hangar) and talk to the scientist. Open the hatch in the farthest room, go down. Message from Everett. Go down the corridor, there will be a terminal on the right. Log in to it (login - tunnel01, password - omega2a). Turn off cameras and guns. Turn off the laser field with a multitool. Go up the stairs, into the hatch, then there will be pipes. Down, then up the stairs. You will find yourself in the command control room. Raise the bridge to the third floor, then climb up and go through it. There should be a dead body on the right - take the key. Go up the stairs, then into the hatch. In the main building, find the elevator and go to the second floor. Open the control room with the key ring. Go down the stairs and talk to Sam Carter. Get down even lower and talk to Harry Savage. Go to the room to the right of Sam. Press the buttons at the far end of the room - the elevator will go down. Climb into the elevator and go up to the top floor. Go to the computer (login - gsavage, password - tiffany). Click on "uplink milnet". Get a message. Go back to Savage. Talk to him and offer to save his daughter. He will give you her photo. Exit the base and head northeast. Get in the helicopter, but first talk to Tong.

Go further along the pipe. Climb up the stairs, go to the gas station. Here you need to find Tiffany, but you need to do it very carefully. If you actively make noise, she will die. In principle, and with her death, you can continue the passage further. Personally, I did just that. Return to the helicopter, which is located to the right of the gas station.


Mission 12


Naval base.

To get there, you have to swim a little. In the water, it's a good idea to use a short crossbow against divers' opponents. Swim to the four pillars with red lanterns. There's a ladder up there. Climb up it, through the door, go along the overwater walkways to another building. Inside, get into the elevator and go down. Message from Savage. Talk to Dr. Brittney Prinzler. In the next room, use the terminal (login - tech, password - sharkman). Turn off the cameras, open the doors. Talk to scientists, read the datacube. In another room, use the small yellow submarine. But first, you must open the doors using the terminal.

Mj12 Ocean Lab.

Go to the window and get a message from Savage. Climb to the next floor and read the datacube, climb even higher. If you turn off the guns, then everything will be in order, if not, then you will have to sweat. Enter the room, then the left door. In the hall, go left (cannons can be demolished with grenades). Take the key from the corpse, at the end of the hall, open the door with the key ring. Destroy the green creatures and go through the door on the left. Open it with a multitool or read the code on the datacube in the next room. New message from Savage. Go through the next door, read the datacube. Continue walking down the corridor. You will soon come to a large area. Go through the door on the other side. You will either have to open it or look for a code in the district. Go down for a long time, through the door, the corridor. Down the stairs, right down, right, down the elevator, through the door at the end of the section. Read the datacube next to the blue laser field. Turn off the field, at the end of the hall there will be an exit. Again a large area (avoid the spiders!). Go to the middle (there are two more) elevator. The terminal will activate the bridge, it will have to be hacked. Cross the bridge, get a new message. Enter the computer terminal (login - mj12, password - skywalker). You could read these codes on a datacube that was in poisonous water. Click on the "access us schematics" button. Return to the yellow submarine and meet Walton Simon along the way. You can fight him or just run away quickly to your submarine. But first, use the terminal to open the doors. Get out of the underwater complex on land, climb to the very top. On the roof, and then into the helicopter. Before that, you can talk to Savage. When you land, go southwest to the cabin. Climb to the second floor, go across the bridge to another area. In one of the buildings you will find an elevator shaft, go down the stairs. The elevator is at the very bottom. Press the code (8456) and go through the thick doors. Two more doors open with exactly the same code. Then you need to go up the stairs. In the launch room, press the "abort" button. On the left, use the terminal (login - elder, password - armageddon) and click on the "initiate new launch" button. Go to the launcher, take the elevator up. Destroy Howard Strong, return to the roof of the mine and get into the helicopter.


Mission 13


Area 51.

Read the messages, quickly run away from the helicopter before it explodes. Go to tower "17a". Message from Tonga. Along with this message, you will also receive a map of the area. Your task is to get into bunker 51 in the northern part of the base. Now go to the "command 24" building and take the key there, read the datacube (login - a51, password - xx15yz). Now enter the tower (careful! there are mines attached to the walls!), climb to the third floor and enter the computer with the codes you read recently. Open the doors of the 51st bunker. Get down downward and iditol into those doors which have just opened. At the crossroads to the right. To the building on the left. Open the door with a master key, open the yellow locker here and turn on the power (online). Now return to the crossroads and go left (there is another way - from the hangar in the northern part of the base). Go down the elevator, open the doors of the bunker. Go further, at the crossroads you will receive a message from Tong. Go right to the holographic platform. Talk to Morgan Everett. (the code will say - 8946). Here I must say that you will receive offers of cooperation from three factions (Morgan Everett, Tracer Tong, AI Helios) - and the end of the whole game will depend on which side you choose. But the differences will begin only in the fourth sector, and it has yet to be reached. Go north and open the doors (barracas). The code for them is 8946. Here you can use the medical bot, collect some things. Go further east, go to "Recreation" (code - 8946). Kill a couple of types here. The terminal can be hacked, turn off all cameras and machine guns. Go down the corridor to the south, kill the soldiers. Enter the sector 3 door (use either the key or the lockpick). Receive a message from Paul Danton. Call the elevator, three guards will arrive in it - destroy them and go down. Receive a message from Bob. Go to the door to sector 3, to the left to the holographic terminal. Talk to Tong - he will make his last offer and give you a map of complex 3. Go inside, get a message from Helios. Climb up. In the office on the third floor, the code in the computer is (login - area51, password - bravol3). Open the augmentation container. Go to the Reactor Lab on the ground floor and talk to the mechanic (code 1038). Return back to Station 17 and move on to Aquina Hub. Here go down the stairs. A proposal message from Stanton and a message from Bob Page. Kill the aliens and go left to Aquinas Control. Get on the elevator and go up to the third floor. Talk to AI Helios. He will make his offer. Return to the second floor, to Aquinas Control, down the corridor. Read the datacube (it's at the bottom of the green containers) - it will have a map of the fourth sector. Go to the door to the fourth sector on the lowest level. Read datacube immediately after it. Go ahead, open the door. You will receive a message from Harry Savage soon. Go down the corridor to the cloning room. The door will explode there (message from Bob Page). Go north to the door that the aliens will protect. Kill them and go to the Toxic room. Use the multitool to open the panel by the door. Receive messages soon from Everett, Jacobs.



Ending (1). "Joining the Illuminati with Everett".


Go to Bob Page's cell and talk to him. Now go south, down the corridor, up the stairs. Find the blue-fusion reactor and disable it (7243). We need to disable three more of these things. Go to the middle level, one reactor is in the center and the other is in the radiation room. The last reactor is on the lowest level. Disable it and climb to the very top. Enter "Infusion control room" and press the switch, exit this room.


Ending (2). "New Dark Age".



Go to the "Coolant Control room" downstairs in sector 4. Use the multitool or the code (2242) that was on the datacube on the second floor. Kill the soldier, go to the end of the corridor, press "flush system" and return to sector 3. Go to the Reactor Room and activate the switches at the bottom of each reactor (don't forget to put on a hazmat suit if you have one). There are only two of them here. Now go to the control room and press all three switches. The mechanic will interfere with you - kill. Then click on the "Engage" button.


Ending (3). "Unification with AI Helios".



Go to Aquinas Router on the second level of the fourth sector. Open the door with a multitool or look for the code. Inside, press 2 buttons (engage) on both sides, and then Helios will tell you the access codes. Log in to the computer (login - icarus, password - panopticon). Click on "Engage primary Router". Return to sector 3, to Aquinas Hab, take the elevator to the third level and talk to Helios.

Everything!!! It remains only to watch the credits. A lot of people did the game, a lot. I didn’t think that just for voicing the characters, the developers invited several dozen people, if not more.
