Those who were eager to start playing Diablo 4 as soon as possible may have encountered a small unpleasant surprise in the form of an error either when logging in or during the game. The message "Could not find a valid license for Diablo IV. (Error code 315306)" gave the impression that players were using an unauthorized version of the game.
While some instances of this problem may indeed be related to unauthorized copies of Diablo 4, most fans who legally purchased the game were disappointed to see such an error. For those who wish to correct this issue and return to normal play, we can offer a quick solution.
How to fix "Could not find a valid license for Diablo IV" error:
- Exit the game.
- Click on the clock icon with the Battle.net logo in the top left corner.
- Select Restart and Update.
- Re-enter the game.
On the night of the game's launch, the developers experienced some minor delays. As they showed off their favorite builds, it became clear that some accounts had been erroneously banned from the game.
