Diablo IV Reveals the Rogue Class
Blizzard Reveals the Rogue Class in Diablo IV
Today Blizzard confirmed the fourth class for Diablo IV — and it's a painfully familiar scarred face. After a few years, the rogues return to the role-playing game to throw arrows and brandish daggers. Of course, she looks much more alive than in Diablo 1. Check out how she wields her weapons in the new trailer.
Rogues in Diablo IV will be able to use bows and crossbows, swords and daggers. It looks like a mixture of archery and insidious knife attacks, and they are much more mobile than they were before. The rogue will also be able to infuse her attacks with various elements, infusing them with ice and poison, etc. to apply secondary effects.
In terms of cosmetic customization, she'll have options ranging from the classic Sisterhood Of The Sightless Eye archer in red leather to a sneaky hooded rogue with black drapes like a Tumblr ninja from 2013.
She's the fourth character in Diablo IV, joining the sorceress, druid, and barbarian, but it looks like there's still one empty spot at the Blizzard campfire. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. A release date has yet to be announced, but there won't be a release in 2021 for sure.
