Apex Legends Hitbox Chart. Which legend to choose?

hitbox

This Apex Legends hit box chart might motivate you to move from a bigger character to a smaller one.

List Apex Legends includes a variety of playable character classes, each offering unique abilities to help players win matches. However, the different abilities that the characters in Apex Legends offer aren't the only things that make them different from one another. During the first month that the Battle Royale title was available to play, people noticed a significant discrepancy in the size of the hitboxes that each character possesses. This caused some frustration in the community, as players who play larger characters are easier to hit than players who use smaller Legends. This led to the creation of a chart that showcases all the hitboxes for each of the available characters in the game.

hitbox (English hitbox, "hit zone") - usually a rectangular area of the character's sprite, hitting which the game counts as a successful collision (collision) of the character with an object - a bullet, an enemy, an item / powerup, or an element of the level's environment.

Gibraltar has the biggest hitbox in Apex Legends

Apex Legends hitbox chart

As in other games, all characters in Apex Legends have special hitboxes in which shots register damage to the character. Unfortunately, in Apex Legends, these hitboxes are very different and result in smaller characters like Wraith having a much harder time dealing damage than Legends like Gibraltar and Caustic. This discrepancy is shown in a diagram created by zhrooms, a member of the community, which was posted on the official battle royale subreddit.

You can find this particular chart for the hitbox differences found in Apex Legends below.

As you can see from the table above, Legends like Pathfinder, Caustic, and Gibraltar are much more likely to take enemy damage than Wraith, Bangalore, and Lifeline. Then the two characters Bloodhound and Mirage are right in the middle of the hitbox list for Apex Legends. While the numbers from the Apex Legends hit box table shouldn't stop players from playing their favorite characters if they don't want to switch, this graph gives players the understanding that playing as a larger character puts you at a disadvantage when it comes to taking damage. in a match.
