Genshin Impact 3.3 has included several major and minor events so far. The next event will go live on January 3rd. It's called Across the Wilderness and was officially announced on January 1st.
Unlike events like Winddriver (Windtrace), Wild Race is a brand new addition to Genshin Impact. Luckily, the developers have offered some details regarding its end date and gameplay.
Scheduled tests expected in the Wild Race event Genshin impact
New event "Wild Race" will start soon!
The Adventurer's Guild is holding a special event called "The Wild Race". Collect as many field balloons as possible within the allotted time and get rewards.
Event wild race will hit the Genshin Impact servers at 10:00 AM Server Time on January 3rd and will be available until 03:59 AM on January 13th. This gives players a period of 10 days to complete objectives.
Travelers must meet certain eligibility criteria to be able to interact with the Adventurer's Guild, which is required to participate in the event:
- Reach Adventure Rank 20
- Complete Prologue: Act III - Song of Dragon Freedom
This archon quest is the final act of the Mondstadt storyline in Genshin Impact.
In terms of gameplay, the event will see buildings associated with the balloon collection in the wild for a limited time. Players should try to find as many of them as possible in order to secure the best rewards.
Two different types of balloons will be available during the event: Harvest balls и Sonar Balls. The former will contribute to the overall progress in collecting balloons, while the latter will spawn more crop balloons that will appear near the traveler for some time.
During the first five days of the event, a new location will be unlocked for players. What's more, gamers can even participate in the Wild Race with other players by inviting them into their world. This will make the Co-op event available.
To further help players achieve the best results in this event, Genshin Impact has also announced a special gadget called Field compass (Wilderness Compass), which will be available during Across the Wilderness. Travelers will be able to use it to access certain Blessings that will ease the challenges offered by the event. However, only one of these can be claimed per call and must be used when the compass is sufficiently charged from collecting balloons.
Travelers can choose characters that can help them reach higher areas in this event. Anemo guys like Xiao, Kazuha, Venti and Wanderer have their own advantages which can help to solve certain tasks easily. This, however, depends on the location of the quests. Kazuha can be a great option for a competition as it reduces stamina consumption while sprinting by 20%, making it easier to run.
Travelers can expect several rewards such as Primogems, Enchantment Ore, Talent Level Up Materials, and Pestilence after completing the event's challenges.
Players are expected to receive not the easiest primogems in the upcoming event, while the second half of version 3.3 continues with its valuable banners. Since Wild Race allows players to participate in Co-op, it is expected to be a lot of fun for most Genshin Impact gamers.
