BACKGROUND
Long ago, a single demon challenged the lord of the underworld to save mankind. The demon won and sealed the passage to the underworld. That demon was the dark knight Sparda. Sparda's act became legendary, and the name of the great dark knight was revered by all mortals. But years passed, and his exploits, like the very existence of demons, were erased from the memory of people. After 2000 years, the seal on the gate to the underworld began to break down. In a fit of vengeance, the Demon Lord Mundus ordered the killing of Sparda's wife and two twin sons. Sparda's wife, a mortal named Eve, fell victim to murderous demons. One of the sons, Virgil, disappeared without a trace. Only Dante, Virgil's twin brother, survived.
Decades have passed... Dante is reunited with his missing brother Virgil. Virgil survived thanks to the blade that belonged to his father - the demonic sword Yamato - and he wanted to get even more power from Sparda.
Arkham, a man driven by a thirst for demonic power, knew that the release of Sparda's energy would loosen the seal that had been placed on the underworld. Therefore, Arkham manipulated Virgil in order to realize his immense ambitions.
Tormented by doubts about the fate of his brother, Dante set off on a journey to stop Virgil and Arkham. In his travels, Dante met the witch hunter Lady. She burned with the desire to get revenge on Arkham for the murder of her mother, and this strengthened Dante's resolve.
Convinced that Arkham was a real threat, Vergil and Dante joined forces to stop the mad scientist. However, their friendship proved to be short-lived as their differences proved irreconcilable. The duel between the brothers was fierce, but Virgil was defeated. Refusing Dante's help, the eldest of the twins became a prisoner of the underworld. Soon Dante opened an agency called Devil May Cry. The agency was engaged in hunting demons and gathering information about Mundus.
After a while, a beautiful stranger appeared on the threshold of the agency. Her name was Trish. She brought Dante to the island that became Mundus' dungeon. Dante fought the henchmen of Mundus and defeated them. One of them was his brother Virgil in the guise of the Demon Nelo Angelo. Dante captured Mundus again.
Peace reigned in the human world, but not for long.
PROLOGUE
The prologue is the introductory tutorial part of the game. Follow all the requirements that appear on the screen. Thus, you will learn how to jump with a blow, master melee and ranged combat, learn what a seal is, a red sphere and learn a variety of combos.

mission 01: Nero

mission 02: qliphoth

Once outside, kill the enemies and go to the far alley on the left to extract the hatchling. Return to the street. There you will fall into a hole where you will have to kill two Infernal Antenors. Move on until you get to the phone. Answer the phone for Niko to appear. Before the bosses, you always need to look for a phone in order to call a fighting girlfriend and carry out a number of valid upgrades.

mission 03: flying hunter
