PS4 Exclusive Days Gone Coming to PC This Spring

Bend Studio plans to release one of its main Days Gone exclusives on PC

Originally released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in 2019 Days Gone Coming to PC later this year, said Sony President and CEO Jim Ryan. He told the magazine that this is the first of several in-house games that the company plans to bring to PC in the near future. Developer Bend Studio subsequently confirmed the news on Twitter, stating that he would have more details in the future.

This news comes after a surprise release on PC  Horizon Zero Dawn . Although the game suffered from launch bugs, the port was a hit for Sony and the company sold approximately 716 copies in its first month of availability on the platform. So, you can imagine why Sony wanted to repeat this success.

“[It] is a pretty simple decision for us,” Ryan said. “There is an opportunity to bring these great games to a wider audience and understand the economics of game development, which is not always easy. The cost of making games goes up with each cycle as the caliber of IP improves.”

Days Gone in as next port for PC An interesting choice from Sony. After graduation, he received average reviews gaming press due to its similarities to other open world games and The Last of Us. But in recent months people have started looking at the game more closely. You have to think that Sony is aware of this critical reappraisal and wants to take advantage of it.
