However, as 68Logic points out, PlayStation 5 owners are at risk of saying goodbye to their devices if they continue to use the console in a non-horizontal position.
Several PS5 console service companies have reported that liquid metal is used in the cooling system, but it can leak.
Because of this, it is possible for the heated ZhM to get on the elements inside the console. If there is enough heat, it simply drips onto the board or other elements inside the console, which can lead to breakage.
Experts from 68Logic recommend laying the PS5 on its side, because the console comes with a stand for this purpose.
