1. Use cover. Division 2 is a cover shooter - using cover is a must. Always stay behind cover and remember to change your current position often. Especially when the enemy attacks from the flank.
2. Pay attention to your surroundings. The game offers a minimap (the only exception is the dark zones). The map marks the places (using red boxes) from which the enemy comes out, giving you time to prepare. The minimap also shows the locations of all nearby pickups. 1. Revive allies. When an ally's health points drop to 0, they will be killed. When this happens, you will have sixty seconds to help an ally and revive them. Always pay attention to the health level of your allies. And help them when needed.
2. Use grenades wisely. Save the grenades for special occasions like tougher opponents. But also avoid storing them indefinitely. In addition to dealing massive damage, grenades deal damage to enemy ranks. And they can turn a dangerous situation in your favor, giving your team a few seconds to regroup.
3. Put your eyes on the back of your head. Enemies in Division 2 love to throw grenades. Even if normal frag grenades aren't as dangerous as they could be. Non-lethal ones can disorient or incapacitate your character. Leaving you completely vulnerable for a few seconds. Always keep your eyes on the battlefield, and if a grenade or any object gets in your way, run to another cover or destroy it in the air if you can.
4. Every enemy has a weak point. Snipers must be destroyed on reload. Similarly, it takes a few seconds for an opponent carrying an LMG to reload the weapon. When enemies fighting at close range frequently attack players, leaving them vulnerable to flanking fire and special abilities such as turrets. Use these weaknesses to your advantage.
5. Eliminate the most dangerous opponents first. The biggest danger comes from enemies attacking players. Letting them do their thing could wipe out the entire team. Then take care of the snipers - they do a lot of damage. But defeating them with concentrated fire is pretty easy. Hiding behind cover will allow you to take care of other opponents. And heavily armed opponents can be bypassed by jumping from cover to cover and increasing the distance between you.
6. Unlock weapon and perk slots ASAP. The first skill allows you to carry an additional main weapon (2 instead of 1). And the second opens the possibility of using two active abilities. These skills should be unlocked at the start of the game - when you first encounter the Quartermaster.
