Epic Games Revealed Some Details And Fortnite Season 2 Start Date
Epic Games has announced when the next season of Fortnite will take place, and also confirmed that there will be a two-week event with a set of bonus challenges.
The first season of the second Chapter of Fortnite was definitely dragged out and became the longest season in the history of the game. At first we thought the season would end in early February, however Epic Games just released a blog confirming the actual release date for the next Chapter 2 Season 2.
As Fortnite transitions to the Unreal Chaos physics engine that will replace the current one with the v11.50 update, the developers are looking to "ensure the stability and integrity of Fortnite" so testing will take place and there may be some issues and improvements that will be made to mitigate the impact. .
FORTNITE CHAPTER 2: SEASON 2 START DATE
Epic has confirmed that Fortnite Season 2 will release on Thursday, February 20th. Normally, Fortnite has a new mission or set of challenges that are released on a weekly basis, and Epic has also confirmed that more Bonus Challenges will be added before the end of the season.
The developers also announced that a new event will be added before the end of the season, which will last two weeks. This event will most likely have a set of challenges for players to complete, but we don't yet know which event they will be.
