In addition to huge game discounts and unlimited coupons, Epic Games is giving away one free game each day during the New Year promotion.
Day 1: Shenmue III
Shenmue III is a computer game developed by Japanese studios YS Net and Neilo, Monegasque Shibuya Productions, and Indian Lakshya Digital. Deep Silver is responsible for publishing the game. It is the third part of a series of games Shenmue by designer Yu Suzuki. The game was released on November 19, 2019 for Windows and PlayStation 4 gaming platforms.
The release of the game was first announced for the end of 2017, but subsequently the date was postponed to the second half of 2018. On May 14, 2018, a message appeared on the game's website that the release was postponed to 2019. According to publisher Deep Silver, the developers need more time to polish the project and improve its quality. The game was released on November 19, 2019.
