Epic Games Teaser of Netflix 'Extraction' Hero Coming to Fortnite
Donald Mustard, Creative Director at Epic Games, has opened up about the possibility of Chris Hemsworth's character from the new Netflix movie Evacuation coming to Fortnite.
Netflix's new super-action film Evacuation, starring Chris Hemsworth (Tyler Rake), who plays Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is already rocking theaters around the world with its explosive storyline and well-chosen stunts. Tyler Rake, Hemsworth's hero, is a ruthless mercenary tasked with rescuing a young boy in Bangladesh who is the son of a drug lord.
Although the film has its own unique style, many have compared it to a string of John Wick films, both in direction and action.
Comparisons to John Wick were actually the impetus for Mustard's clues. The Russo brothers jokingly tweeted a photo of Tyler Rake fighting John Wick with the caption: "Who did you fight? Tyler Rake or John Wick?
In response, Donald Mustard said, “Hi, Joe. Maybe we should put Rake in Fortnite and find out?".
Fortnite has become known for its ambitious crossover with some of the biggest movie franchises in the world, including the aforementioned Avengers series. John Wick was one of the first movie characters added to Fortnite back in Chapter XNUMX Season XNUMX.
Hey Joe. Maybe we should put Rake in Fortnite and find out 😎 https://t.co/oQIlMJtnCO

The tweets aren't necessarily official confirmation, but the Russo brothers' "hells yeah" response added to the excitement.
Hell yeah.

If this were any game other than Fortnite, we would ask you to moderate your expectations and let these tweets fall on deaf ears. However, we've seen so many impressive crossovers at Epic's construction royale that it actually seems possible.
Likewise, the fact that Epic has collaborated with the Russo brothers in the past makes Tyler Rake's presence all the more likely. Epics need rehab!
