Fortnite Battle Royale just got more balance changes. Epic Games released these mods with a small patch on Thursday, March 16th, changing several of the weapons in the game.
Chapter 4 Season 2 was released last Friday, but many players have been complaining about certain weapons. The latest patch is meant to bring balance to the video game and make certain items more effective.
The latest Fortnite patch buffed the Combat Shotgun
The Combat Shotgun was first released in Season 9 of the popular video game. What makes this weapon unique is its fast rate of fire and extended range. The shotgun has been picked up a few times, but it returned in chapter 4 season 2.
Epic Games felt that the weapons were not as powerful as they should have been, so they were improved with the latest update. The damage per shotgun has increased so the Combat Shotgun will be stronger against both players and structures.
Epic has also improved the Dragon's Breath sniper rifle. Exotic weapons now shoot faster, but are still one of the rarest weapons available at the moment.
The sniper rifle can only be obtained from Holo-Chests and requires two unlock keys. Keys can be found randomly throughout the island, but can also be purchased from CRZ-8, an NPC found in the Bamboo Circle, north of Mega City.
The latest Fortnite patch also includes a fix for a glitch that made the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle 100% accurate when sliding.
The latest Fortnite balance patch also reduced the effectiveness of several reality improvementsAnd. Players will no longer receive a 33% store increase with an increase Medium Ammo Amp, since the bonus has decreased to 20%.
In Chapter 4 Season 2, players can receive medium bullets while sliding with the perk Munitions Slide. However, Epic Games has lowered the rate at which ammo is granted with this perk. However, the add-on is still effective and is ideal for those who use assault rifles and DMRs.
Finally, the game development team has fixed a bug due to which Chug Cannon had a faster cooldown when getting a perk Chug gunner.
