Epic Announces Fortnite Raise the Cup Concluding Season 3
Play for a chance to be one of the first players to receive the Raise the Cup emote.
FNCS ends this weekend, but that doesn't mean competitive Fortnite is over for this season. On August 18th, two days after the end of FNCS Season 3, Epic will host a competition called "Raise the Cup".
Although Epic is not affiliated with Liverpool Football Club, the reward for the event is the Raise the Cup emote, which is directly related to the team. Here's everything you need to know about the event.
Format and scoring system
This tournament will be a squad competition, which will be the first of its kind in chapter 2. The rest of the tournaments in this chapter consist of solos, duos, and triples. It will be interesting to see squads compete for the first time in a long time, especially when many of these players aren't training in this format.
The scoring system has been changed to accommodate squads, which contributes to twice as many eliminations as solo battles. Also, as many players have requested, participants won't have to deal with the points threshold in this tournament. Each place will earn you one point - in addition to winning - which means that there will be no teams that slightly miss the next place threshold.
Here is a breakdown of points for the competition.

- Victory Royale: 30 points,
- 2th place: 24 points
- 3th place: 21 points

Prizes
Prizes for this event will not be cash. Instead, players will be rewarded with the Raise the Cup emote. You will need to be in the top 1000 in the EU, the top 625 in North America-East and the top 250 in North America-West.
It looks like this is an open competition that will depend on your arena score. Like the Contender Cups, this tournament will be divided into the Open League, the Challenger League and the Champions League.
As with all of these competitions, the Raise the Chalice emote will be available for purchase in the Item Shop for those who are not eligible for the reward.
