Another Fortnite FNCS Team Disqualified for Insulting Opponents
Another Fortnite trio has been kicked out of the FNCS campaign ahead of the final weekend, this time for addressing other members with harsh words.
The Luminox Esports trio of 97Default, Freemok3 and Wulfee5 received a DQ shortly after one teammate sent a scathing tweet to another FNCS trio.
Expletives were uttered against Fortnite players K1nzell, wak1e and IDrop. Epic Games quickly responded to the incident with a disqualification.
Previously, players banned for this behavior were in violation of FNCS competition rule 8.1.2, which states "players must respect other players, competition administrators, spectators, and sponsors."

The decision was made a few hours before the start of the final stage. In light of the ban, 97Default apologized for his outburst and said that he had been working on his anger control in recent months.
“I am very sorry that I will be disqualified from the tournament that we have been working on for so long,” said 97Default. “I apologize for all the words that I said to the players. I hope everyone understands the pressure that players feel when they play in the FNCS Finals for the first time.”
The other two members of the trio also expressed regret after being suspended in the last days of the FNCS season.
In the past few weeks, the FNCS trio have been disqualified for similar attacks against competitors and even the director of Fortnite himself. The decision against 97Default and his team is the latest in a growing list of disqualified teams for venomous words and behavior from FNCS members.
A player going by the name Wrigley recently told Epic Games' creative director Donald Mustard "kill yourself ". A week later, another player named "paper" was toxic to the opposing FNCS trio . Both players, along with their teams, were disqualified from the track for their actions.
