Since there are quite a few things to keep track of, let's start with some of the simplest, beyond that, we give you some tips and tricks that you can use while playing. We'll dive into the details too, so stay tuned!

And now let's start from the beginning! Check out Portal Virtual Reality's EVE Echoes Combat Guide for a better understanding of how it works.

EVE Echoes - How combat works

Combat is pretty easy now, and it's one of the core mechanics of the game, as you can fight anywhere. The fight basically works like this:

- You click on the target.

- You lock onto the target by pressing the lock button.

- You turn on the weapon, shoot it.

You rob him when he's dead.

It's pretty simple, right? Well, you need to know a little more, because if you want to start robbing other players who are mining and start destroying various enemies piece by piece and such, you will need to know about it.

EVE Echoes - Where to Fight: Areas and Security

guide

Now, if you've played EVE Online, then you're probably familiar with this, and just like the PC game, you'll have the same concept in EVE Echoes - the game IS a PvP game, so even if you're in hisec ( confused "I'll tell you more about it below), you can still be subject to some attack, just like in the null area.

But what do they all mean, I will give you more details here below:

- High Security Space (hisec): this area allows you to be somewhat safe, even if you can still be attacked. However, once you are attacked, space police kill the attacker. Here you can play semi-afk (more or less) if you need to, just keep an eye on the game.

- Low safe space (lowsec): in this area you will get more resources from mining and mining in general than in hisec, but here you can definitely get attacked and the police won't take out the attacker. In these areas, attackers get a few crime points (reputation or whatever you want to call it) that will disappear over time, but if they head towards Hisec, the police will attack them.

- Nullsec: here you can find some of the best trophies in the game, but players can be attacked without any consequences for the attackers afterwards. Basically, if you want to use the PK of others, there is no disadvantage, but you can also be attacked afterwards. So this is essentially a high risk, high reward area where you can earn ISK faster.

Looting in these areas will give you the best loot.

In my opinion, the following should be kept in mind: once you undock, you can be attacked wherever you are .

How to find out how much time is left on the crime timer?

To check this, simply click on the yellow or red circle next to your character icon. Also, as another thing you need to keep an eye on, try to stay away from gates and stations until the timer runs out because the sentry guns will attack.

EVE Echoes - Anomaly Guide

If you're wondering what anomalies are, then look no further because I'll briefly explain what you need to know about them so you can keep an eye on them and try to farm them as much as possible.

Basically, Anomalies are battlegrounds that have different levels of difficulty depending on the number you see next to them in the Overview. Some of the anomalies that drop can be blueprints.

Inside them, you will find NPCs ready to fight you, which will drop all sorts of useful ship modules, and you will receive ISK as a reward for killing them (this will be given to you after a short period of time).

EVE Echoes - Encounter Guide

Appointments can be found under Menu -> Appointments and there you will have several types that you can make. They will give you ISK for completing tasks, and they can be of varying difficulty, the more difficult ones giving more ISK (but may also require a lot of distortion to complete).

Either way, it's a good source of income, and if you're lucky, you can also get some rare and powerful modules that can also be a reward.

Missions can be of different types:

— News : These missions will give you a lot of rewards and they are required to complete the story missions.

— Story missions : These are much better missions that various modules can give you upon completion. The story missions can get difficult quickly, so try to always be ready to run out of the area if you're not ready.

EVE Echoes - Looting Guide

Since you want to get really good items, the place you are in, the stations you are docked at, will have different loot on the market.

The location where you sell your items also matters, because it's always better to sell in the mall.

The market works by allowing players to use in-game currency in exchange for purchasing various resources or blueprints they need from other players. The game does not yet have a guide for the EVE Echoes Market, but one may be implemented sometime in the future.

There are only a couple of steps you need to follow in order to be able to sell, so it's not very difficult once you understand the basics. In fact, first things first - you need to dock with ITC Station.

It looks like safe zone, which allows you to perform various actions, such as using the marketplace and collecting extracted resources.

So, here are the steps you need to follow in order to sell in EVE Echoes:

- Make sure you are at the ITC station. Otherwise, head to the nearest one.

- Click on the menu in the upper left corner of the screen.

- Click on inventory.

- Click on the item hangar (you won't see this option and the ship hangar unless you're docked at a space station).

- Click on the item you want to sell.

- Click on the Sell option.

- Select the quantity and set the price at which you want to sell the item.

- Sell goods!

It's pretty easy to do so just make sure you're docked and the rest will be very easy. Also, you will need to have items to sell or you won't see the sell option.
