Getting started in Eve Echoes is a pretty overwhelming experience, and choosing which Eve Echoes race to play around is just part of that. It's hard to pick a race if you don't already know New Eden or any of the people who live there.
That's why we decided to create an Eve Echoes race guide: to make the first choice a little easier so you can play and have fun in New Eden.
Race affects many factors, such as which ships you start with and what special equipment you have initially. It also determines where in space you start, but in a place as big as New Eden, it won't matter much at the start as you will still have the same options as everyone else.
In the end, the best way to choose an Eve Echoes race is to just learn about them and see who is who. EVE ECHOES RACE: AMARR
'There is only one god'
The Amarr belong to New Eden's oldest and largest empire, a theocratic society that is deeply religious. They also have the strongest military and they are slave traders. Here are their starting features:

- ➤Drone: remote ship with various functions
- ➤Armor: easy to repair protection
There are also three groups in the empire and here is a brief description of each of them:
AMARR - POLITICS
- ➤The men are politically minded and are experts in planning.

The Minmatar Republic are essentially space nomads, and while they maintain their own space, many live in other parts of New Eden. Here's how they start:

Among the republics there are also three groups, and here is information about them:
SEBIESTOR - ENGINEERS
- Men are Passionate Thinkers and Machine Enthusiasts
- ➤Women are kind and smart, with mathematical talent
BRUTOR - A Humble Start
- ➤Males are strong and determined
- The females have a dominant stripe and are usually successful.
VHEROKIOR - PEOPLE
- ➤Males are smart and perceptive
- ➤Women are perceptive with a wonderful sense of intuition

EVE ECHOES - BEST RACE
Race in Eve Echoes is very subjective, but you can't go wrong if you make a choice based on initial advantages. It's also important to remember that Eve Echoes is still an RPG, so it's okay to roleplay a character.
If you choose a race and sub-faction based on your personal sci-fi interests or because their society sounds cool, chances are you'll enjoy playing as that race. You will also transfer to another ship very quickly, and ships from other factions are available on the market, so this is not a concern. So while there are different starting benefits, we recommend picking whichever race you like the most.
