Exit the Gungeon - Guide To All Items In The Game
Exit the gungeon is a hellish dungeon exploration developed by Dodge Roll and Singlecore Games on September 19, 2019 for iOS devices on Apple Arcade, continuing the adventures of the Gungeons on their journey to escape from the Gungeon. The game was released on PC and Switch on March 17, 2020 at approximately 20:25 Moscow time.
Items in Exit the Gungeon
The developers have created so many items for the game that it took almost a week to write this article. There are really a lot of them. They can be found in chests, bought, stolen or obtained after killing bosses.
All items can be divided into three groups. This - Pickups, Active Items и Passive Items.
Below we will discuss each of them in detail:
Pickups
В Enter the Gungeon There are 7 types of pickups
Hearts
When picked up, restores a whole or half health, depending on the type of the picked up heart.
Armor
When picked up, gives the weaponsmith a piece of armor that protects against damage. Upon taking damage, the armor is destroyed and the empty effect is triggered.
Cursed enemies deal 1 Armor damage instead of 2 Armor when they hit a Gunsmith.
Ammo box
The green box, when picked up, restores the ammo of the current weapon. Red replenishes the stock of current weapons by 50% and the remaining weapons in the inventory by 20%. Cannot be picked up if a weapon with full or infinite ammo is selected.
Sleeve
The main currency on the floors of the Gungeon. Dropped by all enemies in the Armory. Mostly used in Gunsmith shops.
Key
Used to open locks on chests and closed doors. Accepts Flint as payment in his shop.
The cage key is used to free the characters from the cage.
Hegemony Credits
The main currency in Bresci. Used to unlock weapons, items, and launch special game modes.
Dummy
Main utility item in Enter the Gungeon. Used to avoid enemy attacks and to access secret rooms.
The dummy makes all bullets disappear and stop firing enemies for a while. It also knocks enemies back slightly, dealing minor damage to them.
- Increasing the Coolness increases the chance of pickups dropping after clearing a room.
- Increasing the level of the curse reduces the drop rate of all pickups after clearing the room, except for the ammo box.
Active Items
There are many things in the Gungear that can be found or obtained during the passage. They can be found in chests, bought, stolen or obtained after killing bosses.
Meat pie - Restores 1 heart. Doubles the character's damage before the first wound (One-shot).
Medicine chest - Restores 4 hearts (Single use).
dry ration - Restores 2 hearts. Automatically used on death (One-time).
Orange - Fully heals and adds 1 health container. Increases Coolness (One-time).
Molotov cocktail - Throws a bottle that sets fire to the ground.
Reliable picks - Opens a lock or breaks it permanently.
Bait - A puppet is created to distract enemies
Potion of Lead Skin - When activated, the character reflects enemy bullets.
ibomb app - Blows up everything in the room that can explode.
Burnt TV - If you bring it to the Blacksmith, he will unlock the Robot.
Spice - Improves the characteristics of the gunsmith. Decreases his maximum health (Cursed).
Cigarettes - Deals damage to the character, but increases the Coolness Index.
Stash with equipment - Calls for help in the form of a box of ammo (Single-use).
Ethereal Form Ring Grants flight, invulnerability and invisibility.
knife shield - 8 swirling knives appear around the character (Cursed).
The oldest empty - Rechargeable Dummy (Cursed).
friendship cookie - Resurrects a fallen teammate (One-time).
Vial of the Old Knight Restores 1 heart. Has 2 charges. Filled up on every floor.
Grenade with chaff - Stuns all enemies.
Secret Gunpowder - Patron Component.
sense of direction - Shows the direction to the elevator.
tenacious hook - Used to move faster or stun enemies.
Weapon Friendship Potion - Increases HP for 10 seconds.
Ampoule with poison - A jar is thrown, which creates a puddle of poison.
doubling - Doubles the number of bullets fired, but reduces accuracy.
bullet time - Slows down time by 70%.
C-4 - Can be installed and manually detonated.
ice bomb - Damages and freezes opponents when it explodes.
Bomb - Detonates enemies when it explodes.
jetpack - Allows you to fly, but it is impossible to use the roll.
Bracket key - Deals 75 damage to all enemies in the room.
molten stone - Explodes all the corpses in the room.
Refrigerant leak - Spills water towards the cursor.
Adhesive tape - Allows you to connect 2 weapons together (Single-use).
Box - The character hides under the box and becomes invisible.
decoy bomb - A puppet is created to distract enemies. The doll explodes when destroyed.
Shield of the Maiden - Protects from bullets, but does not allow movement.
cluster mine - Creates 5 mines that explode on contact with the enemy.
old bell - Stops time.
stuffed star - Invulnerability for a while.
Big boss — A rocket is launched at the specified location. It has a large explosion radius and leaves a large pool of poison (Cursed).
Napalm strike - Ignites the selected area.
Portable turret - A turret is installed that automatically shoots at the nearest enemy.
Singularity - A black hole is created that draws in enemy bullets and the opponents themselves.
Air strike - Causes a series of explosions in the selected area.
magic horn - Charms enemies around the character when used.
jar with bees - Created bees that fly to enemies and attack them.
favor of fate - While active, the bullets go around the character.
Proximity mine - A mine is installed that explodes when an enemy approaches.
Boomerang - Stuns enemies.
iron coin - Kills all enemies in a random room. Used 3 times, then disappears.
smoke bomb - Temporary invisibility.
Escape Rope - Moves the character to the store.
Boer - When activated on a chest, summons enemies, and then opens the chest.
teleporter chest - Teleports the chest to the next floor. After teleporting, there is a chance that the chest will increase its quality.
Prototype teleporter - Allows you to teleport to a random room on the floor.
Lament - When used, deals damage, or increases the curse, or creates a weapon or item of high quality, or does nothing.
Charge Stone - Grants invulnerability and restores the ammo of the current weapon.
Bottle - Collects hearts or a box of ammo into a bottle on first use. When repeated, the gunsmith uses them.
Daruma - After dodging an enemy attack, you can use a pacifier with a short range.
bitten cheese - When used, the gunsmith turns into a piece of cheese, becomes invulnerable and kills enemies on contact.
Portable folding table - Creates a small table that can withstand 4 hits. Can only be used 3 times.
resourceful bag - Rolling over enemy bullets collects them in a bag. Using the bag empties it and shoots a piece of cheese that deals more damage the more bullets collected. Maximum collects 30 shots.
strange egg - Use will restore all health containers. When thrown into the fire, a snake will appear. When shooting at an egg, a random weapon (Single-Use) spawns on the ground.
Ticket - Calls for help Gatling Seagull. She fires a machine gun and blocks enemy bullets. Disappears after clearing the room.
Store shelf - Creates a zone with infinite ammo.
shadow clone - A shadow clone is created that moves in a mirror way from the gunsmith. As a weapon, he uses the one that the gunsmith uses.
Passive Items
+1 bullets - Increases damage by 25%.
Military training - Increases accuracy and reload speed.
rocket bullets - Increases bullet speed by 50%, damage dealt and rate of fire by 10%
Token - The character is followed by a policeman who helps in combat.
Protective kit Gives immunity from fire, poison and electricity.
Holster with heart - Gives 1 container of health.
Lunchbox with heart - Gives 1 container of health.
Heart medallion - Gives 1 container of health.

Icy heart - Gives 1 container of health. When wounded, fragments scatter, injuring enemies. Increases toughness.
laser sight - Increases accuracy. All weapons have a laser pointer.
practical belt - Increases the maximum ammo for all weapons by 20% and gives additional space for the active item.
drum shop - Increases the magazine of all weapons by 50%.
R2G2 - Shoots at nearby enemies. Follows the character.
Broccoli - Increases damage by 10% and gives 10% chance to avoid it. Also increases movement speed.
nanomachines - Gain 2 armor when picked up. Every 4 wounds gives armor.
Simulator Teeth Necklace - All chests and stands become Mimics.
alpha cartridge - The first round in the magazine deals 80% more damage.
Omega ammo - The last bullet in the magazine deals double damage.
explosive bullets - Each bullet has a chance to explode on impact.
thick bullets - Increases damage by 30% + doubles the size and knockback of bullets, but reduces maximum ammo by 10%
magic candy - Gives 1 container of health, +15% damage, +20% movement speed and +1 coolness.
Disarming personality - Reduces prices in stores by 15%
Dog - The character is followed by a dog that can sometimes find items after clearing the room.
Mask - Protects from poison.
heavy bullets - Doubles knockback power and increases damage dealt by 25%, but reduces bullet speed by 2x.
Jumping bullets - All bullets get a single ricochet.
radioactive lead - Bullets can poison the enemy
hot lead - Bullets can set enemies on fire
Easy Reload Ammo - When rolling, 1 round is added to the magazine.
Fluffy Cola - Increases the character's movement speed.
Shadow ammo - Chance to fire an extra bullet when firing at no cost.
Mustache - When buying an item with a 50% chance, the character can get half a heart.
Lich index finger - Increases rate of fire by 25%.
Newsletter - Increases steepness by 3.
Blindfold - Increases damage by 20%, but reduces the accuracy of all weapons by 2 times.
Ring of Fire Resistance - Gives invulnerability to fire.
Cartographer's Ring - When moving to another floor, it can open its card with a 50% chance. Does not show hidden rooms.
Miser's Protection Ring - Gives 2 Health Containers. Breaks with any purchase.
Unity - Increases the damage of the current weapon by 2% for each unequipped weapon.
Ring of Chest Lifesteal - Destroying a closed chest or killing a Mimic heals 1 heart.
Imitator Friendship Ring - Imitators do not attack the character.
bloody eye - Slows down enemy bullets by 15%.
Pit Lord's Amulet - When falling into a pit, the character does not receive damage.
Ice Cube - Allows you to accumulate an additional charge on used items even if they are ready for use. Increases toughness by 3.
Metronome - Increases current weapon damage by 2% per kill (max 250%). Taking damage or switching weapons resets the bonus.
Photo infuriating - Upon taking damage, the weapon is instantly reloaded, and the damage dealt by the character is temporarily doubled.
Aim - Increases the accuracy of all weapons
Backpack - Allows you to carry another usable item.
Ammo Belt - Increases maximum ammo by 20%.
Spiked Armor - Increases damage when rolling to 48. When taken, 1 armor is given.
Pink Guon Stone - Gives 1 container of health. Flies around the character and blocks bullets.
Huon White Stone - Additional dummy when moving to another floor. Flies around the character and blocks bullets.
Light Ghuon Stone - Grants immunity to poison. Flies around the character and blocks bullets.
Blue Guon Stone - When a character takes damage, time slows down. Flies around the character and blocks bullets.
Sunglasses - Slows down time and increases roll speed during explosions. Increase steepness by 2.
monster blood - Adds a container of health. Upon taking damage, a huge puddle of poison is created. Grants immunity to poison.
Second number - Increases all characteristics of the Cultist when a partner dies.
Golden Ammunition Amulet - Increases Pacifier damage to 60. Restores 1 more Pacifier at the start of each floor.
Foundation Amulet of Ammunition - Pacifiers have a chance to poison, set fire and freeze enemies. Gives an extra pacifier at the start of each floor.
Magnetic Ammunition Amulet - Pacifiers push back more and also stun enemies for 3 seconds.
Frost Ammunition Amulet - Pacifiers can freeze enemies. Gives an extra pacifier at the start of each floor.
Copper Amulet of Ammunition - Pacifiers can set enemies on fire. Gives an extra pacifier at the start of each floor.
Uranium Ammunition Amulet - Pacifiers can poison enemies. Gives an extra pacifier at the start of each floor.
Sight tableware - When the table is flipped, time slows down, and when shots are fired, the number of bullets triples.
Tableware money - When a table is flipped, all other tables in the room are also flipped. Gives a chance to drop a shell case when the table is flipped.
Fury tableware - Flipping the table temporarily doubles damage.
Tableware pacifiers - When flipped, the empty effect is triggered.
Stunning tableware - Flipping the table stuns all enemies.
Clone - After death, the character is reborn in the first room of the initial floor, while retaining all items and weapons.
Bandana of the Ancient Hero - Increases the maximum ammo capacity of all weapons by 4 times.
battery bullets - Allows bullets to electrify spilled water to deal additional damage to enemies.
Wolf - A wolf appears and attacks enemies
Piglet — In the event of the character's death, the piglet sacrifices itself, reviving the gunsmith with full health.
Tsvetik-Semitsvetik - Increases the chance of encountering red or black chests.
Bloody brooch - Heals the character for half a heart for every 1200 damage dealt, but also adds 0,5 to the curse level. Damn.
Strain "Androbomeda" - Reduces the health of all enemies by 25%.
Briefcase with money - When taken, it gives 250 shells and 3 Hegemony credits.
Galactic Medal of Courage - Increases damage against bosses by 30%, reduces reload time and bullet spread by 2 times.
Bloodied Scarf - Roll is replaced by teleportation.
Slave - Flies around the character and shoots at enemies.
space friend — Flies near the character and shoots at enemies.
One crown - Increases the chance of getting shell casings for clearing a room.
Liquid Valkyrie - Enemy bullets travel 20% slower.
fighting tooth - A special “notch” appears on the reload bar, allowing you to complete the reload a little earlier, while increasing damage (+ 75%) and accuracy until the next reload.
Ammunition Synthesizer - Chance to restore some ammo (4,8% of maximum) on kill.
Armor synthesizer - Increases the chance to get armor after clearing a room.
Heart Synthesizer - Increases the chance to get a heart after clearing a room.
Helmet of the armorknight - At the beginning of each floor, 1 armor is given. Part of a kit.
Knight Armor - At the beginning of each floor, 1 armor is given. Part of a kit.

Roll eye - Reflects bullets when rolling.
Comb - When hit, bees spawn and attack enemies.
Sixth Hall - Increases toughness by 2 per level of the curse.
Green Huon Stone - When a character takes damage, it can heal them.
The book "Anatomy of chests" - Improves the contents of the chest when destroyed.
Greenflower Bullet - Increases roll speed by 20%. Reduces the delay until the next roll.
Red stone of Guon - Increases roll speed and distance. Flies around the character and blocks bullets.
Explosive helmet - Reduces the radius at which the character will receive damage from explosions.
Rocket tableware - After flipping, the table starts to accelerate, after which it flies and explodes when it hits an obstacle or an enemy.
Shadow Ammo (Pilot) - Increases the maximum ammo for all weapons by 10% and gives additional space for the active item.
Self-guided bullets - Bullets can become homing.
The map - Shows the location of the rooms on the current floor.
Sponge - Removes all fluids around the character.
Hollow Follower's Ring - When using an active item, the empty effect is also triggered.
Antibody - 50% chance to heal the player for an additional half heart on any heal.
Old Knight's Shield - Adds 2 armor.

space super turtle - The character is followed by a turtle that shoots at enemies.
Owl - Follows the character. Sometimes uses a pacifier with a small radius.

Heavy boots - Remove the impact on the character from the recoil of weapons, blows from opponents and conveyor belts.
Bionic leg - Increases movement speed. Gain 1 armor when picked up.

Clown mask - Gives one of three random companions.
Trophy bag - Increases the number of shells that drop from enemies, but when damaged, some of the shells fall to the ground.
Battle standard - Increases the damage of companions and charmed enemies by 80%.
Bloodthirsty 9mm - Gives a chance to fire a fast, armor-piercing, homing and ricocheting round that will fly around the room and attack enemies.
stray bullets - Gives a chance to fire a cartridge from a random weapon stored in the gunsmith's inventory.
Whistle-bird - Ally. Blocks enemy shots. Upon receiving a certain amount of damage, summon chickens that will automatically target enemies and attack them.
Chaotic bullets - Fired bullets get a random firing modifier.
Gilded bullets - Increases damage for each cartridge case that is in the gunsmith's inventory.
spiral bullets - Each shot fires an extra bullet. Both bullets deal 66% of their original damage and start moving in a sinusoidal path.
Damn bullets - Increases damage by 10% per level of the curse. Damn.
Junk (satellite) - Satellite. Enhanced by Scrap in the gunsmith's inventory.
magic bullets - Gives all bullets a chance to turn enemies into chickens, similar to magic weapons.
yellow hall - Gives a chance that one random enemy will be charmed until the end of clearing the room. After clearing the room, he dies. Gives 2 Health Containers. Increases the rate of fire of all weapons by 15%. Increases curse level by 2.
Enchanting Ammo - Bullets gain a chance to charm enemies on impact.
Remote controlled bullets - Bullets change direction towards the cursor and deal 10% more damage.
zombie bullets - Bullets that do not hit enemies can replenish the ammo of the current weapon.
Guon's glass stone - Flies around the gunsmith, blocking shots, but breaks when taking damage.
anti-aircraft bullets - When a bullet hits a wall or an enemy, it explodes into many smaller bullets that fly in all directions.
silver bullets - Damage dealt to cursed enemies is increased by 225%. Damage dealt to bosses is increased by 25%.
Spring boots - Allows you to make a second roll immediately after the first.
Full Metal Jacket - In case of danger, automatically uses the existing pacifier. Protects against both enemy shots and contact damage.
Roll bomb - During the roll, a small bomb falls out of the gunner.
hard bullets - Bullets deal 60% increased damage at close range, but 20% less damage at long range.
Shmelepuli - When shooting, there is a chance to release a homing bee that deals damage to enemies.
crisis stone - Grants invulnerability when reloading an empty magazine.
Snowballs - Bullets increase in size and deal more damage the longer they travel.
Gnawed Key - Unlocks access to the Resourceful Rat's Lair.
Platinum Bullets - With each bullet fired in the magazine, the remaining ones increase damage.
Baby impersonator - If there are no other companions, follows the player and attacks enemies. Otherwise, it turns into one of the gunsmith's companions.
A note that infuriates - Used to access Resourceful Rat as a boss.
devolver bullets - Turn one enemy into another enemy, like Debilver.
Golden junk - Gives 500 shells and buffs Trash.
Hungry bullets - Bullets can destroy enemy bullets on impact.
Ring of the Resourceful Rat - Increases item drop chance after clearing a room. A rat can exchange one item or weapon for another item or weapon, respectively. Works 1 time per floor.
Turkey -Gives you a turkey companion. After three consecutive shots, restores a small amount of ammo.
Eastern bullets - There is a chance to deal critical damage, similar to the Shearing Gun.
Leaky grail - When taking damage, a dummy effect is triggered, and 50% of the ammo of all weapons is restored. Increases curse.
Rat boots - Increases movement speed and makes it possible to walk on chasms for a short period of time. During this time, the gunsmith is invulnerable.
macho belt - Increases the damage of the next shot after a roll.
turtlecalypse - After clearing the room, a turtle is summoned to fight for you.
Bullets "Eye of the Lich" - When picking up any weapon, synergy appears. If a weapon doesn't have combos, it will simply buff.
Dummy bullet - When hitting an enemy, it has a chance to cause a dummy effect at a short distance.
Scanner - Shows the damage of the gunsmith and the health of the enemies.
Orbital bullets - After each miss, the projectile of the weapon begins to rotate around the weapon.
bullet katana - Gives a chance to fire a bullet that attacks enemies in the line of fire.
Fast Runner - One of the effects is turning the Swift Runner into a Windgun weapon with infinite ammo. Transforms back into Fast Runner after a short period of time.
Patron King's Cat Throne - Gives flight. When rolling, a bunch of bullets are fired in all directions.
Shotgun tableware - When the table is flipped, a shot of the current weapon is fired.
Tableware heat - When the table is flipped, it creates a zone in which enemies burn.
Baby Skeleton - A small Skeletron is summoned to fight for the gunsmith.
Hands in banana jam - Decreases the time to change weapons in Blessing mode in combat. When a gunsmith changes weapons, he throws the weapon he had at where the player hovered over.
Blown fuse - When a weaponsmith gets an upgrade, a short-range dummy is used.
