Ferrari Hublot Esports Series: November Grand Final Countdown Begins
Серия Ferrari Esports is nearing its dramatic conclusion as the full roster of 24 sim racers has been determined.
The grand final will take place on November 6-7, and only one talented driver will be able to prevail, winning the fateful prize in the process: a place in the official Ferrari eSports team.
The final names were chosen thanks to the fourth and final round of the championship, which took place yesterday at Spa Franco.
The professional race was won by a French driver Arno Lacombe , who dominated those October races, taking first place in the last four races. Together with Lacombe on the podium, they took second and third places, respectively Kamil Pawlowski of Poland and Giovanni De Salvo of Italy. These riders also occupied the first three places of the competition, having received the opportunity to take part in the November Grand Final along with Danilo Santoro , Giorgio Simonini , jesos sicily , Kevin Siklari , Corrado Chiriello , Chris Hook , Alex Turato , Tarik Gamil иCesare Penko .
When there was enough time to recover from the PRO race, attention then shifted to the AM race: Gianfranco Giglioli (Italy) started from pole position and was able to hold the lead until the end, followed by Dominic Blyer (Poland) and Another Italian Michael Romagnoli . Jarno Koch , winner of the previous three races, finished fifth to win the 2020 AM Championship. These drivers along with Marco Panero , Leonardo D'Alcamo , Norbert Morvai , Andrea Benedetti , Thomas Scibile , Marcin Sviderek , Torben Pawn иMateusz Tyszkiewicz advanced to the final.
The final line-up for the Grand Final is particularly interesting because there are a total of twenty-four riders, twelve of whom have advanced through the amateur ranks to take their place on the grid for November's races. Four weekends of intense championship competition have highlighted tangible talent in the amateur roster, and it's likely that the coveted spot on the Ferrari esports team could be filled by brand new talent in 2021.
Live broadcasts of the Grand Final races can be tracked on official channels Twitch , YouTube и Facebook , as well as include expert comments Niki Shields , pit lane reporter for the FIA Formula E Championship, and Paula Geoffrey , Sim Racing expert, journalist, and the voice of companies like Sro Esports and the Race Department.
