Fortnite: Where to Buy a Rift from a Character and How to Activate It

To complete the Week 9 challenges in Fortnite Season 6, players will need to find a character that sells Rifts and buy one of them - so here's where to find them all.
Until the end of Fortnite Season 6 and start of season 7 With only a few weeks left, players will no doubt be looking for a few last bits of experience to maximize their Battle Pass and unlock all the skins and cosmetics on offer. .
Fortunately, thanks to Epic Games another set of weekly challenges appeared. The first quest you will face in Week 9 will ask you to activate the Gorge by purchasing it from a character also known as an NPC.
If you're not sure what the Gorge is, or you just need to nudge in the right direction to the nearest NPC character who will sell you one, we've got everything you need to know to complete this quest below.
What is a break?
The Rift is an item that can be purchased from NPCs for 245 Gold Bars. It immediately teleports you into the sky, allowing you to slide across the map again like you did at the start of the match.
Rifts are especially useful for quickly moving around the Fortnite map or getting out of a dangerous situation.
Which characters are selling Rifts in Fortnite Season 6?
These are all the characters that will sell you the Rift in Fortnite Season 6:
- Taxi driver: loitering near a building south of Lonely Lake.
- Castaway Jonesy: located on a small island in the northeast of the map.
- Time: located in the main building of Colossal Crops.
- Reborn Raven: located inside a mysterious house northwest of the Sloth Shore.
- Willow: wandering through the Weeping Forest.
- Recluse Jonesy: can be found in 10 different locations randomly.
There are currently six NPC characters that will sell you the Rift. You will need to have 245 gold bars in order to buy one and it will immediately activate instead of being in your inventory.
Unlike other characters that sell Rifts in Fortnite, Jonesy the Recluse can spawn in one of 10 preset locations in each match and is completely random. Because of this, we recommend focusing on one of the other NPCs.
