This trailer, if it turns out to be genuine, gives us a first look at the boats, new fishing mechanics, and more.
A brand new medal system is being introduced that gives players even more options to level up. It's clear that the developers intend to do a massive overhaul on the current game, and that's one of the ways they'll keep interest in the game high.
With the new map being water oriented, a new diving mechanic has been added which shows the player diving off a cliff into a river.
The trailer gives us a look at the new location of the beach, and most interestingly, we see downed teammates carry over, indicating you'll be able to keep your teammate out of harm's way when they're downed.
Like any Fortnite update, we're seeing a look at some new cosmetics.
To top it all off, it looks like this will be the biggest Battle Pass ever to come to Fortnite, as the trailer says there are 1500 V-bucks to earn and over 100 rewards.
The only thing missing is the official start time. There's been a lot of rumors swirling around, some of them are spoken to, that the launch will not happen until October 17th.
