Fortnite: When Season 11 Begins (Chapter 2)
For a day now, instead of Fortnite, we seeing a black hole and it's kind of boring. Epics are silent like “fish on ice” and we can only guess when the “death” screen will change anger to mercy and we will finally take a look at what the developers have prepared for us.
Looks like something big is coming, considering such a long server downtime. I think we are waiting for a completely new Fortnite, in which only game mechanics and a handful of skins that we earned or bought in previous seasons will remain from the old.
One can speculate for a long time about what will still happen, but it seems that our torment will soon come to an end. A leak that surfaced today could hint at the start day of the new Fortnite Battle Royale season and when the downtime will finally end.
Despite the fact that all the social networks of Epic Games were also sucked into the black hole, experienced dataminer Lucas Yoshi, looking at the code of the official Fortnite website, was still able to see that the time and date for “server downtime expiration ".
The code initially indicated that the end time would run until Tuesday, October 15th at 6am ET. It looks like this code has been updated to show that the end time will now end on Thursday October 17th at 4am ET.
As mentioned before, nothing has been confirmed by Epic Games yet, but it's possible that the new season will start on Thursday as we could get three teasers before the new chapter launches. We will of course keep you posted on any new announcements/teasers as soon as they are released.
