Fortnite Summer Heat 2020 - Everything You Need to Know
The Fortnite Summer Heat 2020 event has been announced, and Epic has revealed what people can expect from the seasonal festivities, including the return of fan-favorite Limited Time Modes (LTMs), new outfits, and more.
The sunny celebration on the battlefields of Fortnite comes just a few weeks after the developers sank the island after a massive brawl by Midas and his Aggregate.
Now the state of the battle royale is perfect for Epic to host the Summer Heat event, which should have all the ingredients for the hottest season of the year.
Classic and updated LTMs
The timings will change every day.
Fog of War (formerly Sinister Silencers), Close Encounters, Gifts from the Vault, Catch! and others.
These are just a few of the limited time playlists that Fortnite is bringing back from now until the end of Season 3. Some of these modes have been slightly updated to include new features that have been added to the game since their debut.
Epic also teased that brand new LTMs would be coming in future updates and gave a taste of what they had in store for their fans.
“All-new LTMs will begin rolling out in a future update and will include new versions of the Elimination games and Elimination-based upgrades,” Epic said in a post.
Summer clothes Vibe
The developers are really going to get to know the sights and sounds of the classic Summer Break with outfits and makeup that would be perfect for a hot day on the coast.
"Summer Heat will also introduce new outfits and other summer-inspired items from the Item Shop: sand, sea, sports, and, of course, good food."
This includes the Par Patroller skin, Cozy and Comfy Chomps outfits, the return of Summer Drift and the Beach Bomber.
Epic has something to keep Fortnite players in on when they launch their massive Summer Splash 2020.
