The Time of Change Overtime Challenges are now available, and one of the challenges requires players to collect Alien Records at the Floating Island and the Retail Post. Here's where and how to collect Alien Records.
Tests "Time of Change" were published by us already a few weeks ago, as soon as they were discovered by dataminers digging through the files updates V10.40 Fortnite. However, they became available only today.
Tasks and rewards are now 100% known and require us to complete them as soon as possible. One of the tests says - Find the Alien's notes on the Floating Island and the Trading Post.

Floating Island
We already know the exact location of where to find the Alien record.
As you already know, the Floating Island moves slowly across the Fortnite Battle Royale map, so you will need to double check the map to see the island's current location. At the time of writing, the floating island can be found south of Sludge Palms in the desert biome.
The place where you can find the Alien recording on the Floating Island is in the back of a yellow pickup truck, which is located in the northeastern part of the island. Here is the location of the first Alien audio recording:
You just need to approach the ribbon and interact with it to collect it.
A store
The Alien Record, which is located in the Trading Post, can be found on the east side of the location and can be found on the top floor of the bookstore building. Here is the exact location of the bookstore on the map below:
