Fortnite Just Secretly Added Galactus to the Island Map
Galactus has finally made an appearance in the Fortnite Battle Royale, in a secret change in patch v14.30 on October 13th. The iconic Marvel villain can now be spotted in the skies over Fortnite Island ahead of the impending Season 4 finale.
It's no secret that Marvel's world-eating villain Galactus is heading to Fortnite Island - he was shown flying through space in the very first Season 4 trailer - but so far, he's been a threat outside of the game, not inside the Battle Royale.
However, this all changed after the v14.30 patch update on October 13th; The World Eater can now be seen in Fortnite flying towards the map of the second chapter of the battle royale.
This new appearance was not mentioned anywhere in notes к patch Fortnite v14.30 but we have all the details on Galactus' surprise appearance thanks to a series of leaks and some vigilant Fortnite players.
First, you'll want to know where Galactus is. Well, once you're in any battle royale match, look up. You should see the Eater of Worlds as a tiny dot in the sky, flying towards his impending showdown with the inhabitants of Fortnite Island.
At the moment he is still quite small. A clear sign that you have made eye contact with Galactus is the bright red beam and his signature helmet.
Here's a first look at the Marvel villain in Fortnite since the v14.30 patch:
Yes, we know there isn't much to see right now. But according to new Fortnite leaks, including from a well-known insider Lucas7yoshi And other leaks from iFireMonkey , the anti-hero will only come close to earth by the season 4 finale.
According to iFireMonkey, the in-game model that looks exactly like Galactus in the original Fortnite x Marvel trailer is codenamed "Distant_Object_2".
A image of Galactus getting closer will eventually be visible in the Fortnite sky.

Lucas7yoshi also revealed that a new Marvel event folder has been added in version 14.30. The full Galactus grid has been deployed in the new download files. Also included are a series of planet references and a Fortnite main menu holographic table.
"Some particle effects from 'final_impact' 'The End'[ season 10 event that ended the first chapter Fortnite] have been re-added and are likely to be re-used," added L7Y.
Galactus appeared not only in the sky. The main menu holo-table has also had a secret update; Galactus now appears above the map at random times as a "looming menace", marked with a bright red targeting system.

For now, this appears to be all of Marvel's secret changes made to Fortnite since the v14.30 update, but keep your eyes peeled! As the battle against Galactus gets closer, Epic Games will likely continue to add small teasers.
Right now, we're in week seven of the planned ten-week Marvel season schedule. This means there could be another patch before the battle with Galactus at the end of Season XNUMX. It's very close!
