Fortnite Not Working? Online Server Status, Maintenance and Downtime Monitoring

If you've been playing Fortnite long enough, you know that this hugely popular game needs regular updates, patches, and downtime to keep it running smoothly on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and all other platforms. In this post, you can monitor the status of the server 24 hours a day.
The free battle royale version of Fortnite is used by millions of players around the world every day and, as mentioned, is updated regularly. Every week, developers release at least one major patch or content update.
While scheduled maintenance and downtime are generally known in advance, unplanned downtime, server crashes, hotfixes, and more can cause some or all aspects of an Epic Games game to stop working unexpectedly.
Luckily for us and you, we are able to track all aspects of the game through the developer status page and a plugin that provides up-to-date information on all Fortnite services and keeps track of any reported or past issues.
Fortnite Not Working
On August 27, 2020, shortly after the launch of Chapter 4 Season 2, Fortnite experienced a major glitch. Epic has confirmed that it is looking into the issue.
We're investigating an outage across several Fortnite services including logins and matchmaking.

Fortnite server status
As you probably already guessed, if the service is marked with green text as " Operating ”, this should mean that there are no problems that can affect your gaming experience. If you're still having issues, chances are it's something on your side and not on Fortnite's side.
When an issue is flagged or downtime starts, it will be marked in red. You can click on the plus icon next to "Fortnite" if you need more information about any particular service, like parties, voice chat, statistics, and more.
As the next seasons approach, downtime may become a more frequent problem as major changes will and continue to be made during this time.
