Fortnite v10.31 Update Description and All Map Changes

Fortnite update v10. 31 has arrived and brings with it a number of map changes to the island, including new updates to the Old Warehouse and Tilts.
Map changes are extremely important in Battle Royale, as where you land can be the difference between winning or getting back on the battle bus as soon as possible.
Throughout Season 10, Epic Games has been bringing back classic POIs with weird twists, and in update v10.31, the developers have made some changes to two legendary locations that will have big implications for the popular title. Changes are now available, here's everything you need to know about the changes made to the landscape:
Old Warehouse
For the past few weeks, work has been underway to build a strange scaffolding over one of the three warehouses located in the legendary place.
A rift beacon had already been operating there before. With everything going on, it looks like Fortnite is getting closer to the main event in the game.
Leaks have suggested that a rocket is being built here, and since the v10.31 update, the underside of an impressive vehicle has appeared, with another rocket expected to be built over the next few weeks.
Village of Prospectors
The popular destination in the west of the island has undergone some major transformations in its time, starting life as leaning towers, becoming a sprawling futuristic metropolis known as the New Towers, and time-traveling to the Wild West under the guise of Miners' Village.
The lighthouse appeared there too, and now the Village looks like it will be the first point of interest to go through the second transformation.
According to leaks, we can expect Gotham City from the legendary Batman franchise to take its place, with dataminers saying that Caped Crusader (it's an adventure game developed by custom FX software) will invade the popular Fortnite game, probably in time to celebrate Batman Day. September 21st or promote the upcoming Joker movie, which will be released on October 4th.
Floating Island
The island is in motion again and has returned to the northwest corner of the map. It has been floating above the Greasy Diner for a week, but with the release of v10.31 update, it is now close to the Spicy Springs, although it is currently drifting and not targeting a specific POI.

WEAPONS AND ITEMS
Corrected mistakes
- Fixed a bug due to which the pickaxes "Star Rod" and "Tesla's Legacy" did the wrong amount of damage.
- Since the bug has been fixed, these picks are now available in the game again.
GAME PROCESS
- Storm Circles no longer stop in the following areas (Keystones and Arenas):
- marshy palms
- greasy diner
- The village of miners
- A store
Corrected mistakes
- Fixed a bug due to which ziplines sometimes did not work as they should.
- Since the bug has been fixed, ziplines are now available in the game again.
- When a player dies, the damage dealt by them while empowering Storm is no longer subtracted from the total damage dealt by their team.
SPECIAL ABILITIES
- Author codes can now be used when purchasing goods for real money within the game.

- Attention: when buying sets containing V-bucks, a share of the proceeds is transferred to the author, whose code was entered when using V-bucks from this set.

WEAPONS AND ITEMS
- The Deciblaster has arrived in the Weekly Store!
- This weapon fires a sonic wave that travels through enemies and bounces off objects up to 5 times, dealing area damage each time. Consumes no ammo, but breaks quickly.
- This product is available from 03:00 Thursday, September 19 until 03:00 Thursday, September 26, Moscow time.
COMMUNICATION
- Social Groups can now be up to 16 people in Save the World.
- The mission can only be started if there are 4 active players in the group.
- The rest of the group must go to standby mode using the communication panel. In this case, players will be able to continue to communicate in voice chat.
GENERAL CHANGES
Corrected mistakes
- Now players will no longer get into the editing mode of an unnecessary building element by aiming at the stairs.
- In the 10.30 update, we fixed a bug that would sometimes enable edit mode for a building that wasn't crosshaired by the player. However, players continued to get into editing mode of an unnecessary building element when aiming at a ladder. This issue has also been resolved.
- Removed black border on iPad 2018 Pro.
