G2 Esports Plans To Release Streetwear And A Range Of Collectibles
Popular European organization G2 Esports has signed three licensing agreements to sell streetwear and collectibles for Amazon.
The three licensing agreements came about as a result of their partnership with Brandgenuity, which was created in May 2020 in an attempt to increase the organization's merchandise offering.
The organization aims to produce new gear to "engage fans with a variety of badges and consumer products on a global scale" beyond the typical sweaters and standard clothing items.
Difuzed has joined the team as a casualwear licensee and will produce occasional streetwear releases - a similar approach to what 100 Thieves did.
The Koyo Store is another G2 licensee and will produce a range of collectibles. This includes player logos and cards, badges, key chains and coins; available in Europe, North America and Australia.
The third and final licensee is Merch Management, which will produce print-on-demand apparel for Merch by Amazon. The G2 is said to be "using the Amazon Kindle direct publishing platform," offering notebooks, coloring books, journals, and sketchbooks.
This range will be available in North America, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

“No other esports organization is currently established to take advantage of their brands like G2,” said Carlos Rodriguez, founder and CEO of G2 Esports. "With the addition of these three licensing partners, G2 will be in the best position to create amazing collaborations for our fans."
New products will also be posted in their specialized stores in Europe and North America along with products they already offered to fans.
G2 Esports has been in a great position lately, coming out of top four at the League of Legends World Championship in Shanghai and by signing a contract with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive star Nicolas "NiKo" Kovacs.
