Crab Game Beginner's Guide
Iga in Kalmar
Round 1
- Red light, green light
In this case, the assigned "tagger" turns his back on the group and sings a song that matches the game's real Korean title, which translates to "mugunghwa flower blossomed". Mugunghwa is the Korean national flower.
Everyone else runs until the singing stops and the person turns around.
Round 2
- Honeycombs / Cookies
Gamers carved die-cut shapes from honeycomb cookies called dalgona.
In real life, street vendors sold sweets with shapes engraved on them, and kids tried to carve them perfectly.
Round 3
- tug of war
It's as simple as it sounds, and here we have the same game. It is known as juldarigi, or tug of war, and has been popular in Korea since ancient times when it was played during the moon festival.
Round 4
- Marble
This round is based on marble, which is popular all over the world, but is interpreted in a slightly different way in the show.
For those participating in the Squid game, teams of two are given two sets of 10 marbles and one of them must get all the marbles without resorting to violence.
Round 5
- glass panels
In this round, players must jump over a suspension bridge lined with glass panels, but some of them are normal and some of them are hardened or hardened.
If any of the players in the Squid Game select a regular panel, it will break and they will fall. It was inspired by games like hopscotch.
Last round
- Squid game
This is the tag version and was played in South Korea in the 70s and 80s. It is played on a squid-like field, which is a square with a triangle on top and a circle above it.
Two teams oppose each other, a defender and an attacker. A player on the attacking team must reach up to the head of the squid and touch it with their foot, but the defending team will do everything to stop it.
