Newcastle is a new Apex Legends legend joining the Royal Rumble in Season 13 - here's everything we know about Brother Bangalore joining the Saviors games on May 10, including his abilities.
Now we know that leaks revealing unreleased Legendshave made at least one of them correct as Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Newcastle is the next character arriving in season 13.
It is also revealed that he is Bangalore's brother, real name Jackson Williams, who Bangalore believes is dead. As a result, her plans to leave Apex Games have apparently been put on hold.

Who is Newcastle in Apex Legends?
Newcastle has a shield similar to that of Gibraltar.
From the point of view of knowledge, we can say that Newcastle is the brother of Bangalore (presumed dead). Since this is Jackson, we already know a lot about his past thanks to "Stories from the Outlands" - "Gridiron"which arrived in January.
Now we got the Outland Hero Story knowing that Jackson started a new life on another planet and is now a father.
However, a group called the Forgotten Families threatens to destroy his house unless a certain amount of money is paid. So either Jackson or Newcastle join the Apex Games to pay them off and keep their home safe.
Newcastle voice actor in Apex Legends
Another Williams family soldier will be voiced by FPS veteran Gabe Kunda.
Best known as the voice of Valorant's resident war machine KAY/O, he has also voiced popular shows such as My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan.
Newcastle's abilities in Apex Legends
We got our first glimpse of Newcastle's abilities in action officially in the Lifeguards trailer. We see him using his shield and a large barricade - presumably his ultimate.
According to the leaks, these are Jackson's abilities:
- Passive: Retrieve the Wounded - Drag downed allies when you respawn and protect them with your shield.
- Tactical: Mobile Shield - Throw a controlled drone that creates a moving energy shield.
- Ultimate: Castle Wall - Jump and hit the target ally or area and create a fortified fortress.
We see Jackson using all of these abilities in the trailer.
There's no official gameplay on his abilities yet - that's coming later, but a major leak that was posted to the ApexUncovered subreddit in March showed Newcastle in development.
It's worth noting that the abilities and animations in the clip may have changed since it was recorded, so take the leak with a grain of salt.
Falling into the defensive category, Newcastle's form revolves around protecting allies from gunfire and reviving teammates in safe positions.
When will Newcastle be added to Apex Legends?
