Guide to the paladin Lost Ark: Build, Best skills for PVP & PVE

Looking for the best Paladin builds in Lost Ark? Here are all the skills you'll need to dominate PvE and PvP battles as a powerful warrior.

While support-style roles in MMOs tend to be less popular, they are absolutely essential for a group to complete game content, and this is no different in Lost Ark.

Since Paladin is one of the few classes that can heal, this makes it an ideal choice for players who prefer to take a backseat to DPS and instead focus on keeping their party members alive.

Of course, to get the most out of Paladin, you need to be familiar with the best PVE and PVP builds and luckily we have that information.

Peacekeeper, Berserker or Paladin

While the main role of the Peacekeeper is to be tanky and the Berserker's job is to take out DPS, the Paladin acts more like a support class that helps party members with buffs and heals.

Not only is the Paladin capable of dealing massive damage in certain windows, but his main role is to keep his teammates alive by using cooldowns at the right moments.

This is especially important in late game dungeons where the smallest mistake can cost you your life in an instant, so having a healer can be a game changer, especially someone who knows exactly when to use their abilities.

So while Paladin won't be a class at the top of the damage meters, they will always be welcome in a group setting.

Best PvE Paladin build

The ideal Paladin PvE build will focus on boosting the class's ability to heal and buff teammates, while also allowing players to deal massive amounts of damage in certain windows.

However, it's important to remember that Paladin is a support first, so DPS should always be second on the agenda.

The class mechanic of the paladin, like many other classes, accumulates energy. When the energy has accumulated, you can use the buff on yourself or on the party.

  • Blue buff on Z greatly increases the damage, only of your blue skills.
  • yellow buff by X will increase the damage for the whole group.

Support paladins usually use a yellow buff, but if you are the main DPS of the group, then blue.

Best Lost Ark Paladin PvE Build:

  • Blessing. The second tripod increases the attack power of the whole group. The third is mana regen. We definitely take it, because it is a benefit for the whole group. However, for personal damage, the last tripod can be changed. You have to choose - usefulness or damage.
  • Anger. Has the same buff on attack power, and they do not stack. However, you can first buff with a blessing, and then with anger, or vice versa. We will use both buffs in turn.
  • Debuff 10% damage to the enemy. You can give from different skills. It comes with 4 yellow skills with a second tripod. You can take one or more options. It is most convenient to use the Divine Sign - it is quickly cast and hangs a debuff from the very beginning of the action for 12 seconds + the cast can be interrupted if necessary.

You can use other skills, but at least one in the build will be needed. If you need to maintain a debuff always and without pauses, then it is better to take two. First we put a debuff on the boss, then we approach and buff the attack power. This is how we combine bonuses during the battle.

If you use, for example, a light shock for a debuff - the action time will be less, then first we increase the attack power, and then we debuff the boss. Look at the duration of the buff and debuff and combine them correctly.

Paladin supports, as a rule, take shields in the build, at least for two tripods, in order to remove negative effects from allies. Or you can extend the duration of the shields, if this particular effect was not needed.

If there are a lot of points, then you can take up to the last tripod for healing. The rollback, of course, will be huge, but nevertheless, everyone takes it.

  • holy sword. A strong attacking skill, we take it to deal damage, because it’s not only buffs and shields to throw.
  • Jerk. Needed for mobility. It is possible without tripods at all, it is possible for one, and it is possible for the second. It conveniently buffs the paladin's shield after use. We go from points.
  • 2 more skills - you can take whichever you like. For instance, Messenger Sword goes well with combinations. The second one can be taken Lunge - for damage, or Shock - to permanently maintain the debuff, or Explosion Also for damage.

How to give skills in this build

  • First, we hang a damage debuff, then we approach and buff the attack power. We charge blue skills in the boss.
  • On the rollback, we update the damage debuff, we approach again and increase the attack power already through anger, a couple of blue skills have just rolled back.
  • Everything happens almost simultaneously. We give shields when necessary - in general, simple gameplay.

Gems we put on the rollback of the Law and the Sword of the Messenger, because procasts are formed from them. The sooner the debuff rolls back, the sooner we will carry out the second kombu.

Shields rolls back for a very long time, especially if pumped to heal. We put gems for damage on the main attacking skills.

If you have more points, then accepted grab a shield while dashing. If even more, then you can take a heal on the shields. In any case, the build can be modified for yourself, most importantly, take useful buffs and give them on time.

Stats: We play skill and skill. And you can also cast more crits.

Groupings: Support paladins often pick up New Dawn, Celerity, and a class engraving that heals yellow class mechanics.

DPS Paladins can use the class engraving, blue skills and blue mechanics respectively, as well as the silent Titanslayer and the same New Dawn.

Best PvP Paladin build

Monsters and creatures are all good, but what if you want to destroy other players with a Paladin in PvP? Well, it requires a modified build that is more offensive in nature but can still easily support teammates.

To maximize your PVP power, here are all the skills you'll need:

  • Shields can be taken for electric shock upon their completion. It works great, but you need to guess the timings.
  • Anger also on electric shock for hard control. At the same time, he buffs the attack power, that is, if the enemy is in shock, then you can hit him hard.
  • holy swordjust for damage. With this skill, there are no special subtleties at all.
  • Justice – for screed and anti-control. For a good effect, the second tripod on the reaction. Moreover, the onl screed gives with a slight jerk and stacks enemies. A very handy thing in PVP.
  • Blessing - for survivability and damage. The hardest part about this style is to implement it in order to hit the enemy and deal good damage.
  • Jerk you can leave it in a jerk or pump it even to a toss, even to the end. You can either way, and so, but the toss, of course, is more effective, although it consumes more points.
  • Quick cut. At least one tripod. It’s good to run under shields with him - just a psychological attack on the enemy. It can be taken on the second, and even on the third tripod, but usually there are simply no points for this.
  • divine sign. For one tripod. Grants a shield for 3 seconds. This skill can be taken at will or even replaced.
  • Holy Land. Can be taken for 3v3 for anti-control and extra protection. In general, the second anti-control will not hurt.

Of course, the pvp-mode is situational; everyone adjusts the build to suit their style and goals. You can change builds and test almost after each roller. This is the starting option.

Paladin mixed PvEvP build

For some, constantly switching builds when participating in both PvE and PvP is a chore they don't want to worry about, so what build do you run if you want the best of both worlds on Paladin?

Our recommendations for a mixed Paladin build:

Build for cubes and locations, where there are a lot of small mobs with rare bosses.

  • Instead of blessings now you can take the holy explosion. It covers the area well.
  • On the anger take a tripod electroshock - against yellow mobs + this is still a buff to attack power.
  • For debuff for damage, use a more convenient shock. It has a small cooldown, but the duration is shorter.
  • Justice they pull mobs cool - we definitely take it.
  • According to the situation and at will, of course, you can change something, for example, take shield and for the cube, if needed. Or you can not refuse the blessing if you really like its damage.

In the build, there are no such obvious procasts as with the guards. However, you must understand that if you give a damage buff, then you need to implement this buff.
