I went through the game without bows, but they are also suitable for the shooter. Some bows I will write about, and some I won't. This also applies to guns. First of all, I write a guide with which it is really possible to complete the game by 100%. Always remember that not every thing makes you stronger.
First of all, we need to make armor. Thanks that we are not a summoner and we have a chance to make it at the beginning.
- Fossil armor
- Made from hardened fossil. It can be obtained from the refiner. Well, the set itself gives bonuses: + 8% chance of critical damage in ranged combat. +5% Ranged Damage. Set Bonus: 20% chance to not consume ammo. As for me - very cool bonuses to start with, especially at the very beginning, before hardmode, the shooter also has cool guns! - Undertaker
Dropped in the Crimson from Living Heart. Is an analogue of the musket - Musket
- Dropped from a shadow sphere (sometimes with ammo). Undertaker analogue. - mini shark
- Bought from an arms dealer for 35 gold. Perfect for a start though... - Trim

After such loot, it would be nice to kill the initial bosses. Including Skeletron, which guards the dungeon:
Necro Armor

Then we go to hell to find one cool bow there (only cool to hardmode and hardmode is so close...)
Hell Bow 
- Found in chests that are scattered around Hell. True, you have to open them with a key.
This bow is definitely worth it! With him, the wall of flesh is killed in one breath! I think it's clear what needs to be done.
From Mech Bosses to Moon Lord
This part will be short and not wordy. If you've gotten to the Mech Bosses, then you've probably already figured it out yourself. Further I will not describe all the processes in full.
With armor we go in order to Titanium armor, after killing mechs you can afford holy armor.
Palladium armor
- Obtained from Palladium ore. It is an analogue of Cobalt Armor.
