Fortnite Chapter 6 Week 5 Season 2 Challenge Guide
Another week of Fortnite action has come to an end, which means that another new set of challenges for players to complete is already knocking on the door. Here's how to complete the Fortnite Week XNUMX challenges, with handy location details you'll need along the way.
Fortnite fans, casual and hardcore alike, are aware of the importance of completing tasks and quests. Not only will they give you a sense of accomplishment in the game, but they will also unlock XP and sometimes rare cosmetic items or wraps.
Whether you're looking to advance to the next tier of the Battle Pass, or there's a specific skin you'd like to get on the Battle Pass, completing Weekly Challenges is one of the quickest ways to get there.
Week 6 of Season 5 brings players a new batch of quests, and while some of them are mundane tasks that you're more likely to complete without even bothering, others will require a bit more attention.
Unlike last week's dwarf-inspired challenges, this week's focus is on fishing, with players having to catch fish, blow up fish, and destroy various fishing-related items. We hope you enjoy fishing!
Fortnite Season 5 Week 6 Challenges
There are a total of seven Common and one Legendary Challenges to complete this week, which you can see in the list below:
- ⋅ Blow up the fishing holes on the Shark, the Sloth Shore, or the Fish Pond (3)
- ⋅ Destroy motorboats (3)
- ⋅ Explode the fishing holes on Lonely Lake Island, Canoe Lake, and near the floating haystacks (3)
- ⋅ Catch a fish (7)
- ⋅ Signal Coral Buddies (1)
- ⋅ Destroy boats (7)
- ⋅ Destroy fishing rod barrels (7)
- ⋅ Get headshots (20, 40, 60, 80, 100)
Let's start with the simple ones first: catching fish, destroying fishing rod barrels, and destroying boats. You should be able to overcome all three challenges in the same area. Just visit large bodies of water, such as the island north of Mountain City.
To blow up the fishing holes, you need to visit six different locations: The Shark, the Effortless Shore, the Fish Pond, the Island of the Lonely Lake, the Canoe, and the Giant Cooling Towers. Throw grenades into randomly generated fishing holes or use a rocket on a motorboat.
Coral friends will be back this week, though we're not sure what "alarming" means to them right now. Perhaps the players are going to go to the lighthouse? We will have step-by-step instructions ready to use immediately after the call is launched.
Finally, the legendary challenge will prove difficult for those without a steady hand; you need to take a total of 100 headshots. However, there are XP rewards for every 20 headshots completed, so even if you don't complete it completely, you still get something.
We'll have guides on how to complete these challenges as soon as they're released in Fortnite, so be sure to check back later.
