Guide to Crafting Fortnite. All Recipes and Components for Weapon Mods.

Learn about the new crafting system - creating and processing weapons in the sixth season of the second chapter Fortnite, and you can craft primal and mechanical weapons for yourself by upgrading classic weapons.

After the Epicenter unleashed a mysterious energy on the Island, survival skills have become more important than ever. In these primal times, those who can create advanced items gain an advantage.

There are many combinations to create items, but if you want to start with the basics, take a homemade weapon and make it primal... or something more familiar.

The new crafting system in Fortnite is significantly different from our usual counterparts. At first glance, it may seem confusing, but knowing what to do, everything becomes much easier.

Osnew weapon crafting in Fortnite?

So, first you need to deal with new resources for crafting in Fortnite, or rather, with new spare parts from which you can make new weapons, both ordinary and unusual and prehistoric.

There are a lot of such details, but this is not scary, since they are all divided into two large groups:

mechanical parts

materialObtained by destroying cars, any - ordinary, trucks, jeeps and other vehicles with a motor. To do this, take out your pickaxe and grind it to smithereens. You can also undermine the transport with explosives or riddle it with a bullet. While wrecked vehicles used to drop metal, now you will receive a set of parts that can be used to create weapon modifications.

animal bones

materialThese are obtained from animals and birds by hunting, or from lying skeletons by mining. There are two types of game in the game this season: safe (chickens and frogs) and dangerously aggressive (boars and wolves).

But regardless of this, organs can only be obtained after the animal is killed. The only difference is that smaller ones drop less Bones and Meat (and frogs also drop Stink Pouches), while larger ones drop more.

However, there are a couple more important points. At first, unlike Meat, Bones and Mechanical parts are stored in a special crafting menu and do not take up space in the Inventory. And Meat takes up a lot of space: only 4 pieces fit in one slot, but from the benefit of each such piece - only 15 hp.

materialА Secondly, if you suddenly get tired of farming Bones, then there is such a character in the game - Rex. It is acquired in the vicinity of the Tower and sells Bones at a price of 10 ingots apiece. And with a certain skill, you can fly into it in advance, stock up on Bones and start crafting weapons right away, without any hunting.

Actually, Mechanical Parts and Bones are all the resources that are required in order to craft weapons in Fortnite. At least for now…

It should be noted that crafting resources, as well as advanced weapons, including prehistoric ones, can also be found in chests, but randomly. So, the fastest way to create a specific trunk is to shoot animals or crash a car, and collect the necessary resources manually.

Prehistoric Weapons vs Common Weapons in Fortnite

Resources for crafting weapons in the game, as you probably already understood, are not accidentally divided into two types. As well as drawings for crafting (see below about them). The trick is that only Conventional weapons can be made from “mechanics”, and only Prehistoric ones from bones, and both of these types are implemented in the game as radically different. Prehistoric - Deals more damage at the expense of accuracy. And the Ordinary - it is the usual, that is, it shoots and damages, as usual. Therefore, with the usual in battle against an opponent armed with the Prehistoric, there may be problems ...

At the same time, there is also a system of reward for risk, therefore, in terms of weapons, everyone fights with the one that he considers the best. Well, or which managed to craft. Therefore, in Fortnite, in addition to conventional and prehistoric weapons, there is also Homemade. Any such trunk is actually the basis for the designer. It also shoots and damages, but it was originally designed specifically for crafting. In other words, any homemade barrel can be crafted into a much cooler Common or Prehistoric by adding parts of the appropriate type to the design.

As for the procedure for creating a new weapon, here it is just extremely simple: open the crafting menu, find the source barrel, and if all the necessary resources are available, then just press the button "Create”and immediately we get a completely ready-to-use product.

And finally, the basics of crafting mechanical and prehistoric weapons:

  • Mechanical weapons:
