The games were announced in February 2022, are the first installments in the ninth generation of the Pokémon game series and are scheduled for release on November 18, 2022.

Gameplay

Both games will feature an open world that includes urban areas and open wilderness with no boundaries between them.. The games will feature three new starter Pokémon: Sprigatito, Fuekoko, and Quaxley, as well as two new legendary Pokémon: Corydon and Miraydon. To aid in the journey, Corydon, Miraidon, and another Pokémon, Cyclizar, can be used to navigate the environment. Development
