Where to Find Paint Bubbles and Rainbow Ink in Fortnite, For Toona Fish Skin
A customizable fish skin has arrived in Fortnite Chapter 8 Season 2! It's called Toona Fish and you'll need to collect colored bottles and rainbow ink to unlock all available styles.
Like the alien skin Kimera (Kymera) From Season 17, Toona Fish is a Battle Pass skin that can be customized in many ways to showcase your own style. You'll unlock the skin early on Battle Pass Page 1, but each style will require some processing to get.
There are two collectibles to upgrade the Tooncarp skin: Paint Bubbles and Rainbow Ink. Each of them is customizable, so below we will explain what they are used for and how to find them all on the map.
Where to find rainbow ink in Fortnite and what it is for
rainbow ink can found in chests on the island . When the season began, there was some confusion that they would only be found in space chests, but we can confirm that they are available in regular chests as well.
You may have better luck finding them in space chests. They can only be found in pairs, trios, or squads, and are unlocked when teammates take turns hitting them with a pickaxe. We have space chest guidewhich might help.
Once you've earned enough ink, you can purchase predefined character styles for Tooncarp based on popular Fortnite characters, from classics like Banana to fan favorites like Midas and "anime girl" Lexa.
Each of these character styles cost 10 Prismatic Ink, and you also need to unlock the corresponding paint bubbles. More information on how to find them is provided below.
