Where to find hidden animals (Easter eggs) in Apex Legends
Respawn has hidden animal Easter eggs all over the map in Apex Legends. Right from the moment it was launched, it was clear that the game was going to be a huge success. During the week of the game managed to hook 10 million. Since Respawn first revealed itself with Titanfall (set in the same universe as Apex Legends), it was inevitable that a handful of references to the series would make it into this title. Indeed, there are easter eggs scattered throughout Apex Legends that longtime followers of the studio will surely find familiar. One of them is in the form of an animal inspired by the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as Nessie. Some players claim that if they shoot the figurine, a message will appear on the screen: "The Appearance of Nessie...". Rumor has it that in the future, gamers may expect some kind of event or fan service that will somehow be associated with Nessie. This beautiful plesiosaur has made the transition to Apex Legends - much to the delight of fans - but it's not alone. In fact, there are a couple more stuffed animals in the game!
Nessie is said to be hidden in the Apex Legends tutorial map. Players can access this mode from the main menu, and it's actually recommended to do so when first loading the game. Respawn PR manager Brad Hilderbrand responded to why the creature has triumphantly returned to the spotlight: “The dinosaur plushie is Nessie, Respawn's longtime easter egg. All the maps in Titanfall and Titanfall 2 had Nessie hidden somewhere inside, so the team kept their legend in Apex."
Another creature lurking in Apex Legends is none other than a dog. So far, the creature has been found in two places. A gap in the mountains on the training map allows one dog to hide in it while another dog is in the King's Canyon market area on the Apex map itself. Both look like toys of the same dog, although the latter is surrounded by images of real dogs.
The story behind this Easter egg is sad: Lead Level Designer Jason McCord hid a stuffed dog named Shady in the starting map (tutorial). This is a reference to Jason's deceased dog of the same name. You can find an Easter egg in the southwestern corner of the map (between the stones) in the training area and in the market area at the main location.
In Apex Legends, there is a robot named Pathfinder, which has a "For the Birds" pose (can be found in the customization menu). If you choose this pose, the hero will begin to brush away the bird. It's funny that in Overwatch also has a robot (Bastion) and it also serves as a home for a small bird. True, unlike Pathfinder, Bastion does not drive away his feathered friend.
