Where to Find All Marker Fragments in Dead Space Remake

Marker fragments in Dead Space are new collectibles that only appear during New Game Plus. These mini markers are the key to unlocking the Dead Space secret ending that the remake added to the game. There are 12 of these fragments scattered throughout Ishimura, and since the game has twelve chapters, it is mostly linked to one per chapter, with the exception of the ninth chapter.
In this marker fragment location guide, I will tell you where to find the fragments in each chapter, including the best order to get them, and how to activate the secret ending. Make sure you complete the game first and move on to New Game Plus before you start searching, as they won't show up if you're on your first playthrough. Anyway, here is each location containing a marker fragment in Dead Space and the order in which you must capture them.
How to find all marker fragments in Dead Space Remake
Fragment 1. Located on a bookshelf in the maintenance office. This is the same room where you get the Data Board.
Fragment 2. The next item is hidden in the office of Dr. T. Kine, the station's chief scientist. Use the Protagonist's special module to move the two bookshelves and open the secret room in this compartment. Look around this room and find the marker fragment on the table.
Fragment 3. Can be found in the dark part of the engine room on the third floor. In the dark, you will notice a purple glow - head towards it and find the item.
Fragment 4. It lies in the recreation room on the first floor, to the left of the huge screen. There is also a red circle here - it can become a guide for you.
Fragment 5. While exploring the medical bay on the fourth floor, you will find a collection item right on Dr. Mercer's desk in his office.
Fragment 6. In the same compartment you will follow to the open door. To your left will be a cryogenic chamber. Stop on the stairs and turn around. Use the protagonist's special device to pull the marker fragment that is on the roof of this chamber.
Fragment 7. Get to Hydroponics, East Grow Area on the fourth floor (Hydroponics Floor 4, East Grow Area). Use low gravity to reach the purple glow in the dark under the ceiling and pick up the item.
Fragment 8. Examine the small storage room on the way to the lighthouse. Here you will also find supplies and other useful items.
Fragment 9. Having reached the communication center node on the second floor, in the large room you need to climb higher and find a purple glow.
Fragment 10. Located in the crew quarters on the third floor (Deluxe Shift Bunks). Examine the table in the long double room. There is a marker fragment next to the folder.
Fragment 11. On the same floor, you need to find a room with a large animal mass. In the opposite part of the room on the table is an item for the collection.
Fragment 12. In the Tram Control Room on the first floor (Hangar-Cargo-Tram Control Floor 1, Cargo Bay), look at the southeast corner of the large room. On the bottom shelf you will find the necessary item.
Where to put all the marker fragments and how to unlock the secret ending
After collecting all 12 fragments, go to the ritual site in the command rooms on the third floor (Crew Quarters, Floor 3 - Captain's Quarters). Enter the double door and interact with the strange temple to place the collection items. After that, a small cut-scene will begin, and an alternative ending will also become available.
