Ghost of Tsushima
The game takes place in 1274, when the Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima. As one of the last surviving samurai, you will have to fight back against the invaders. However, noble samurai battle tactics will not help you achieve victory. You will have to go beyond tradition to form a new fighting style - that of the silent, vengeful Ghost.

Where to Find All the Hidden Altars in Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima

This page of the guide contains the locations of all the hidden altars available in Ghost of Tsushima. Hidden Altars are special secrets found in the game. They are not marked on the map in any way; neither the wind nor the birds lead you there.

Ghost of Tsushima

While passing Ghost of Tsushima will often have to pay tribute to nature. By making their way to the top of the mountains where the Shinto Shrines are located, or by following the foxes to the altars of Inari, the player will receive large and small charms that will make Jin Sakai a more effective warrior. All of these locations can be found by destroying the Mongol camps and removing the fog of war from the game world map. Torii gates lead to Shinto shrines, which are hard to miss, and foxes lead to Inari shrines. In the latter case, you can find many fox holes.

However, in addition to the shrines listed above, there are 10 hidden altars in the game. If you find each of them, you will unlock the Honor to the Invisible achievement. Such objects are located at different points in Tsushima (often in unremarkable places) and are usually marked with wooden signs, which depict the silhouette of a bowing person. There are many such altars in the game, but we will indicate the location of 10 specific ones, which is enough to get the achievement.

Izuhara

Golden Temple - Buddha Statue

You will travel to the Golden Temple in Ariac during the Act XNUMX story quest. Once there, climb the stairs in the western part of the village and look for a large Buddha statue. It is not marked with a marker, but is considered a hidden altar.

Kesi Fishing Village - Pier

Kesi is a small settlement that you will find west of the Hiyoshi Springs. It is located by the river. The hidden altar is located on the pier across the river, but it will be easier to activate it after the liberation of the village from the Mongols.

Peace of Tadayeri

When you go to Azamo Bay during the first act story quest, you can open the story of the ancient heroes "Legend of Tadayeri". So you will find a place called "Tadaeri's Peace". This is the tomb of a famous warrior, around which a pasture with purple flowers stretches. There is a hidden altar in the center of the area.

Crossroads - cemetery

Another Mongol camp, located southwest of the Hiyoshi springs in the prefecture of the same name. The camp is located next to a small cemetery. Climb the steps to the highest point of the cemetery to find some statues. This is the hidden altar.

Traveler's Tavern - Wharf

This inn is located west of the Hiyoshi springs, south of the fishing village of Keshi. There is a hidden altar on the river.

Kaneda Bay - Pillar of Honor

This Pillar of Honor is located in the very north of Izuhara, in Hiyoshi Prefecture, west of Kaneda Castle. Travel to the coast at Kaneda Bay to discover the Pillar of Honor. There will be a sign here indicating that this is a hidden altar.

Toyotama

Slough Kanazawa - Pillar of Honor

You will find this Pillar of Honor between Umugi and Akashima in Toyotama. Head southwest from the location of the Kanazawa Marshes to find a pillar in the center of the field. It is marked with the sign of a hidden altar.

Cloudridge Sanctuary

We are talking about the Shinto Shrine, which is located north of the Yarikawa fortress. There are not one, but two hidden altars next to her! Find the shrine and start climbing until you squeeze between two rocks. You will find a frog statue. Bow to her, and then turn right and at the exit you will find another frog statue - another hidden altar.

Omi Monastery

Travel to Otsuna to find the Omi Monastery, located south of Omi Village. It's a big place, but there's a cemetery on the hill near the monastery. Bow down at the big grave.

Omi village - Sakai's grave

You will go to the village of Omi according to the plot of the second act, in the task "Ghosts of the Past". To the north of it is the Sakai Clan Cemetery, where Jin's father's grave will be. On the grave, you can create haiku. But it also works as a hidden altar.
