Where to find the Golden Scarab Talisman in Elden Ring

The Golden Scarab is a talisman in Elden Ring that increases the amount of runes you get from enemies, making it much easier for you to progress through the game. Here's where to find it.

Elden Ring has countless weapons and items scattered throughout the Interearth to help you throughout your journey. However, it's hard to find an item more useful than the Golden Scarab Talisman.

Talisman of the Golden Scarab increases the amount of runes you gain from enemies when equipped by approximately 20%. This makes farming a lot of runes a lot easier as you will need to kill less to get more!

However, the downside is that it's hard to find, which isn't surprising given its utility. Luckily, we have a step by step guide on where to find it. Let's get right to it.

Where to find the Gold Scarab Talisman in Elden Ring

First of all, you will need to travel to Calydus, a barren red wasteland located east of Limgrave. This can be done by moving to the Smoldering Wall location.

Then head to the Abandoned Cave, which is located east of the Smoldering Wall and south of Deep Siofra Well.

Follow the cliff side and find a broken tree hanging over a ravine. This will take you to the cave. There is also a Place of Grace within it. So, do not forget to activate it, however, it is better to do this with each place of grace.

Once inside, all you have to do is make your way through the rot-infested cave and defeat the two knights. They attack together, but dealing with the mobs is quite easy if you take them apart one by one.

Defeating them will earn you the Golden Scarab Talisman. Equip it any time you want to get more runes from enemies. But don't forget to take it off during boss fights as it takes up a talisman slot.

Elden Ring

Elden Ring may take a long time to win, but the Golden Scarab can make it faster.

So, here it is. Talisman of the Golden Scarab is one of the most important items in the game in terms of its ability to speed up the leveling process. This is the Dark Souls version of the Alden Silver Serpent Ring in Elden Ring.
