Where to Install Interception Devices in Fortnite Season 17

Season 17 of Fortnite is in full swing and the new weekly challenges have just arrived. But in Week 8, the Legendary Quests on offer continue to expand on the mystery surrounding the alien invaders and their battle with the Imagined Order.

After collecting the OP Guard Pass, players will need to install tracking devices in various key locations. There are three of them in total, so you will need to visit three of the marked locations on the map below.

Where to install tracking devices in fortnite

Here's where to install devices on the Fortnite map.

There are five places in Fortnite where you can install wires:

• high ground radar
• Radar by the lake
• Radar in the hills
• lonely lake
• ** DATA EXPUNGED **

In all these locations, there are three places to install the device, so it won't take long to find them. Our best advice is to choose locations away from the Battle Bus route so you don't have much competition when you get there.

Below you will find maps for each of the five locations that will help you insert tracking devices in the shortest possible time. Remember that you only need to install three devices to complete the challenge!

high ground radar

High Radar is an IO base at the top of the map, east of Beach Village. Here you will find one spot at the base of the radar with a red light on it and two more under the yellow radio towers on either side of the location.

Radar by the lake

Radar by the Lake is an IO base located west of the Dirty Docks. As with the other I/O bases included in this test, one unit can be installed at the base of the main radar antenna, and the remaining two can be placed under the green radio towers.

Radar in the hills

Highland Radar is an IO base south of the Crater (pool of water in the center of the map). Here you can place devices under the big radar dish and place two more under the blue radio towers.

lonely lake

Three more device locations can be found around the pool house in the southeast corner of Lonely Lake. The first is located west of the pool, the second is east of the pool, and the third is by the bench north of the house.

Data deleted

Bunker **DATA EXPUNGED** east of Nook. The first location is outside the office gate, the second is near the cliff on the east side of the fence, and the third is near the entrance to the bunker.

Once you've installed the devices in the above three locations, you'll complete the challenge and earn a whopping 45000 XP to level up your Battle Pass and unlock any remaining skins or cosmetics you need.
