Henry Cavill Will Become the Owner of a Replica of the Silver Sword from The Witcher 3
A Polish blacksmith will give Henry Cavill a copy of the silver sword from The Witcher 3. The 125-cm sword with a silver-plated blade will be given to the actor by the administration of Ogrodzienets
Polish blacksmith and artist Artur Wysotsky used traditional tools to forge a replica of Geralt's silver sword from the game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". A resident of Krakow wants to give it to Henry Cavill, the lead actor of The Witcher series, in honor of the completion of the filming of the second season.
Vysotsky gave the sword with the inscription "Forged in the castle of Ogrodzenets" to the administration of the city of the same name Ogrodzenets. The authorities have promised to give a gift to Cavill and want to do it in the famous castle, where several episodes of the first season were filmed. So far, the actor has not commented on the proposal.
Ogrodzienets was built in the 14th century. By the 19th century, the building was destroyed, but after the Second World War, it began to be restored. After the premiere of the show from Netflix, the place became popular with tourists.
Henry Cavill was spotted walking his girlfriend and dog this week. Actor and fan World of Warcraft was in the mask of the Alliance, dispelling all disputes about belonging to one of the two MMORPG factions.
The release date for the second season of The Witcher is still up in the air. At best, viewers will be able to see the series at the end of this year. The plot of the new part will be devoted to the growing up of Ciri and her first meeting with Yennefer.
