Where to Find the Wind Astra in Teyvat
Materials are a precious commodity in the world of Genshin Impact, and it's a good idea to collect all the resources you come across, even if you think you have enough of them. You shouldn't be surprised when an Ascension character needs X units of one item and you don't know where to get it quickly. It's nice to know that some materials don't change when upgrading characters, instead the required amount increases significantly! Monstadt's native asters are an example, and we're here to tell you where to find them.
wind aster
The plant that loves the wind more than anything. The inhabitants of Mondstadt, the proud people of the winds, also refer to the wind asters as "the wind to be seen".
Wind asters can be found exclusively in the Mondstadt region. Wind Asters can be found near the Valley of the Winds (to the right of the Archon Anemo Statue), between Dawn Distillery and Springvale at the Archon Statue, or in the grassy areas of the Stormterror Lair.
wind aster is a vital material needed to ascend the following characters:
Bennett
Traveler
Sucrose
The three characters are Bennett, Sucrose and the protagonist, also known as Traveler. Players need 168 Wind Aster per character to level each one up to max level, which is a lot in itself. This means that if you use 2 or maybe all 3 characters in your party, you only need 336 or 504 pieces!
It's probably best to postpone finding these flowers until you've reached Adventure Rank 20 and unlocked the Battle Pass. There's something called weekly missions inside the battle pass, and one of those missions is to collect 100 local Mondstadt delicacies, and luckily Astra is one of those specialties. However, since this is a weekly mission, you will need 5 weeks if you need 504 of them, but think about all the battle pass experience you will get!
