How to start the Snow Mountain Exploration quest
Speak with young explorer Esther, who is located in the northwest corner of the Dragon Ridge, not far from the teleportation point.
Where to find beacons in Dragon Ridge
Retrieve 4 beacons abandoned by explorers due to monster attacks.
Follow the marker to the place where it was left first beacon, using the nearest teleportation point.
The beacon lies near the camp with 2 monsters, one of which uses a hammer, and the second shooter. First of all, deal with the shooter, because he constantly restores XP to his friend with a hammer. Having removed it, it will not be difficult to clear the camp from the butcher with a hammer.
Second beacon located next to the river along the coast. He is frozen, so you need to use Scarlet Quartz to get the necessary buff.
You'll find Crimson Quartz in a hollow guarded by a level 88 monster. It won't be hard to kill him. Deal with him and collect all the loot by opening the chests nearby. Break the quartz and run to beat the ice growth to free the beacons.
