Genshin Impact - Reputation and Research Progress System

With the November update fast approaching, Travelers can't wait to see what's going to change in Genshin Impact. Today we will tell you about two completely new systems: reputation and research progress.
City reputation system
In version 1.1, a completely new system will appear, which is called "reputation". By talking to a certain NPC, you will be able to receive tasks and increase your reputation. As your reputation level increases, all sorts of rewards will become available to you!

How to open ?

To unlock the reputation system in Li Yue, complete the Farewell Ancient Lord quest Volume I. Chapter II.
Mondstadt and Li Yue have separate reputation systems.
When the reputation system in Mondstadt opens, you can ask the coordinator of the Ordo Favonius Hertha for details.
When the reputation system in Li Yue opens, you can ask Xiao Yu, secretary of the Citizen Affairs Department, for details.
How to increase reputation
- 1. Local tasks. Complete any quest in Mondstadt and Li Yue and your reputation in the respective region will increase.
2. Exploration of the world. To increase local reputation, explore the lands of Mondstadt or Li Yue, respectively, open chests, collect oculuses, activate teleportation points.
3. Orders for monsters. Hunt down and destroy monsters with a bounty to increase your reputation in the respective city. Every Monday there are new orders. Up to three orders can be completed per week in all regions.
4. Requests from residents. Reputation can also be obtained by fulfilling the requests of residents. Every Monday there are new requests. Up to three requests can be completed per week in all regions.
Reputation Rewards

Reputation Tools
I. Anemoculus Echo Stone and Geoculus Echo Stone
How to get blueprints
1. You will receive an Anemoculus Echo Stone Blueprint when your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 2.
2. You will receive the Geoculus Echo Stone Blueprint when your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 2.
After using the blueprint, you will be able to create tools at the workbench using the right materials.
How to use
1. Use the oculus echo stone and then open the map. On it, the area where the oculus is located will be highlighted in blue.
2. When the desired oculus appears on your mini-map, the blue area will disappear.
3. While an Oculus Echo Stone is active, or immediately after finding the target Oculus, you will not be able to activate another Oculus Echo Stone if there is another Oculus at some distance from you.
Notes
1. After using an Oculus Echo Stone, you cannot use another one for 300 seconds.
2. Anemoculus Echo Stones can only be used in Mondstadt.
3. Geoculus Echo Stones can only be used in Li Yue.
II. Windcatcher's Bottle
How to get a drawing
You will receive the Windcatcher Bottle Blueprint when your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 3.
How to use
1. When the Windcatcher Bottle is equipped, it will automatically collect nearby Anemogranums. It fits up to 5 anemogranums.
2. When used, the Wind Catcher Bottle creates a wind current that disappears after a while.
3. Windcatcher's bottle can be used once every 100 seconds.
4. Windcatcher's bottle cannot be used during combat.
III. thick resin
How to get a drawing
You will receive the Thick Resin Blueprint when your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 3.
How to use
1. Thick Resin is crafted at a workbench with a Crystal Core x1, Primordial Resin x40 and Pestilence x100. Thick Resin can be used in place of 20 pts. Elemental Resin to open earth artery flowers and ancient dungeon trees and receive two rewards at once (both rewards are random).
2. At the same time, you can have no more than 3 servings of thick resin.
IV. Dry ration (Menu #30)
How to get a drawing
You will receive a dry ration blueprint (Menu #30) when your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 5.
How to use
1. When the dry ration is equipped, it will be possible to consume food without opening the inventory. You can add one resurrection dish and one resurrection dish to a dry ration. The dry ration will automatically select the desired dish from the two.
2. If one of the characters fell, then the dry ration will automatically switch the restoring dish to the resurrection one.
V. Furnace of the Seeker of the Adepts
How to get a drawing
You will receive the Adept Seeker Furnace Blueprint when your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 5.
How to use
1. When using the oven, a cooking pot will appear next to the character.
2. If a fight starts, the bowler hat will break.
3. Once used, a new oven cannot be installed for 300 seconds. After 300 sec. the installed oven will disappear.
VI. Pocket Teleport
How to get a drawing
You will receive a blueprint for a pocket teleporter when your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 6.
How to use
1. When used, the pocket teleporter creates a temporary teleportation point where you are standing. The time point is valid for 7 days.
2. A marker will appear on the map, to which you can move by clicking on it. (Only one temporary teleportation point can exist at a time.)
3. The pocket teleporter can create time points once every 60 seconds.
4. Creating a new time point will automatically destroy the previous one.
VII. Anemo treasure compass and Geo treasure compass
How to get blueprints
1. You will receive the Anemo treasure compass blueprint when your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 6.
2. You will receive the Geo Treasure Compass Blueprint when your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 6.
How to use
When used, a pointer to the nearest treasure chest will appear.
Notes
1. If there are no chests nearby, the compass can be used again after 5 seconds. If the pointer appears, then the compass can only be used again after 30 seconds.
2. Anemo treasure compass only works in Mondstadt.
3. Geo treasure compass only works in Li Yue.
Functions of the city
Ore search
How to get access
1. You will gain access to the search for ore around Mondstadt when your reputation in this region reaches level 2.
2. You will gain access to the search for ore around Li Yue when your reputation in this region reaches level 2.
How to use
When you gain access to the ore search, talk to Blacksmith Wagner in Mondstadt or Old Zhang in Li Yue. On your map, they will mark ore deposits where crystal fragments can be mined. After Adventure Rank 30, you will also be able to mine magical crystal debris.
Discounts at city merchants
How to get access
1. When your reputation in Mondstadt reaches level 4, you will receive a discount at the Good Hunter Restaurant and the Mondstadt Merchant Shop.
2. When your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 4, you will receive a discount at the People's Choice Restaurant and the Second Life Store.
How to use
When you meet the conditions, merchants in the specified stores will reduce prices for you.
Name cards for reputation
When your reputation in Mondstadt reaches level 4, you will receive an Honorary Knight named card, and after level 7, a Prayer named card.
When your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 4, you will receive a named card "Sails", and after level 7, a named card "Among the Clouds".
Recipes for reputation
When your reputation in Mondstadt reaches level 1, you will receive a recipe for apple stew.
When your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 4, you will receive the Egg Fort recipe.
When your reputation in Mondstadt reaches level 7, you will receive a recipe for mooncakes.
When your reputation with Li Yue reaches level 1, you will receive a recipe for shrimp balls.

Gliders for reputation
When your reputation with Mondstadt reaches level 8, you will receive the Wings of the Azure Sky glider.

Research progress system
Zoom out completely on the map screen and you'll see the exploration progress for each region. To increase your research progress, open chests, collect elemental oculuses, activate teleportation points, etc.
Archive
Open the Paimon menu => Archive to find the new system.
The archive includes five sections: "Education", "Geography", "Equipment", "Materials" and "Books".
Equipment
This section is divided into the categories "Weapons" and "Artifacts".
Click the "filter" button in the "Weapons" tab to sort weapons by the following categories: type, quality, availability, etc. Click on the book icon to read the history of the selected weapon.
Collect a full set of artifacts of the same quality to unlock the entry for that set in the Artifacts category. After unlocking the record, you can find out the history of the set and easily find its bonus.

Materials
This section is divided into the categories Teyvat Resources, Food and Potions, Trophies, and Useful Items.
Here you can view entries related to curiosities from different regions, cooking ingredients, dishes and potions, resources, reinforcement materials and tools.
Map
This section contains information about already opened observation points of Mondstadt and Li Yue.
Interact with viewpoints located in areas that have not yet been discovered to add them to the Geography section.
Books
In the "Books" section, you can read books collected during your trip.
In addition, some books from the inventory will be transferred to the Archive, and they will no longer take up space in your backpack, but Travelers will always be able to read them at any convenient time in the appropriate section of the Archive.
Training
This section is divided into four categories of tutorial tips: Elements, Enemies, System, and Adventure. All tutorial tips that you discover during your journey will be saved here.
Travelers can use the search function to find the right clue.
Character Overview
In addition to the Archive system, version 1.1 includes a new character overview menu. Open the Paimon menu and select "Characters" to open it.
In the character overview menu, Travelers can find out exactly when an already unlocked character joined the party. By clicking the Details button in the lower right corner of the screen, Travelers will be able to quickly view the characteristics, constellations, talents and other information about the selected character.
Also in this menu, Travelers can sort and filter all the characters available in this version of the game.
