Genshin impact will host its first esports tournament in the West, with the arrival of the University Invitational UK. At this event, a total of 10 universities will battle it out in various challenges to claim ultimate glory and a share of the £11 ($000) prize pool.

The competition is sure to be incredibly tough and filled with many memorable moments. So, if you are interested in participating or just want to watch the event live, then we have everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact University Invitational UK.

What is Genshin Impact University Invitational UK?

The Genshin Impact University Invitational UK is the first esports-style tournament to come to the West. In this event 10 varsity teams will come out based on time trials for a chance to win a part prize pool of £11 ($000).

Genshin Impact University Invitational UK Prize Pool

  • Champion team: £5,000 in total and 2,000 Primogems per member.
  • 1st runner-up team: £3,000 in total and 1,000 Primogems per participant.
  • 2st runner-up team: £2,000 in total and 500 Primogems per participant.
  • Popularity Award: £1,000 in total and 600 Primogems per participant.

Each team member from the above three teams will also receive Genshin Impact acrylic stands and keychains. In addition, each team member from the fourth to tenth placed teams will receive 500 primogems and trinkets.

Only the best team will have a chance to win the first place prize.

The Genshin Impact University Invitational UK will take place in the UK and each team will challenge each other in a series of gaming competitions in Genshin Impact to compete for the championship.

  • Stage 1: Registration and selection of teams (online) May 9, 00:00 – May 16, 00:00 (UTC+0).
  • Stage 2: Qualification (local university divisions) May 16 - May 20.
  • Stage 3: Final (live from London) 28 May.
