Dead by Daylight has confirmed that the next chapter will feature Resident Evil characters namely Ada Wong, Rebecca Chambers, and Albert Wesker as the new assassin.
Dead by Daylight previously collaborated with Resident Evil in June 2021. The chapter accepted Nemesis as the Assassin, along with Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine as survivors.
It also allowed players to explore a brand new map inspired by the Raccoon City Police Department.
Luckily for fans of both horror franchises, developer Behavior Interactive has revealed the official teaser trailer for Dead by Daylight's second Resident Evil themed season.
Albert Wesker, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers join Dead by Daylight
Although the video was previously leaked via dbdleaks on Twitter, the official Dead by Daylight YouTube channel released a one-minute trailer for the next Resident Evil crossover titled Project W.
The trailer shows Resident Evil's Rebecca Chambers helping an injured Meg Thomas before Ada Wong bursts through the door.
Wong locks the door and nods to the other two survivors to leave the scene before black tentacles break the door, revealing Albert Wesker.
According to the trailer description, Wesker, named Mastermind in Dead by Daylight, will be the new Assassin this time around.
Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers join the roster as new survivors, and the Raccoon City Police Department map is also getting a makeover in this new themed chapter.
While Behavior Interactive has stated that more details will come soon, the prematurely released details have revealed various abilities for the new characters.
According to leaks, Wesker's special perks will include the following: Higher Anatomy, Awakened Awareness, and Terminus.
Superior Anatomy will increase storage speed for a limited period of time under certain circumstances. Awakened Awareness will allow players to see other Survivor auras while carrying one.
И terminus inflicts wounded, hooked and downed Survivors with the status of Broken when the Exit Gate is once turned on.
Apparently, the specifics regarding the Survivor perks for Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers have not yet been finalized.
It's important to note that neither Behavior Interactive nor Capcom itself has confirmed any of these leaked details.
Also, while Behavior Interactive hasn't given anything more than a "soon" release date, fans can probably expect Project W to arrive later this year.
