Ghostrunner - All Bosses in the Game
This guide contains tips for passing bosses, and they are not weak in Ghostrunner, so the guide can really help someone.
Of course, you should understand that we will not pass the boss for you and the guide can only help with advice on killing the enemy that you cannot defeat.
Tom: first phase
Tom is a huge tower, which you need to climb and cut off 2 cables, of course it will not be easy, because the tower exudes lasers from itself. Your task is to use the hook to climb to the top of the tower. It should be said right away, do not try to jump the boss without touching the platforms, when you use the hook, you cannot dodge, so before jumping on the hook, make sure that there are no lasers in your path. To dodge the lasers themselves while on the platform, jump and crouch, it's simple. Also try to memorize one “route”, for example, on the first platform we dodged the lasers, jumped on the hook, jumped again, and then we’ll dojim 2 rows of lasers (I hope I explained it clearly)
There is another trick here, as soon as you enter the "arena" do not run to the right, but raise your head up, you can use the hook to shorten your route, this will make the boss much easier.
On the screen, a point with a hook at the beginning of the boss fight that will reduce the boss
Having climbed to the top, when the lasers run out, do not stop using the hook until you jump to the cable, we chop it off and the second phase begins
Tom: second phase
having reached the top of the tower a second time, we cut off the cable again and fall down along with the remnants of TOM
Tom: third phase
The third phase is the simplest, Tom (a metal box with lasers) lies in the center of the room, a pair of lasers spins around it and it also launches waves from itself, we go through the tactics: jump + dash while a wave or laser is approaching you. thus we break two "reactors"
After that, everything becomes even easier, you need to break the third reactor, for this we just use the hook and that's it, victory)
hel
I must say right away that for me she is the most difficult of the bosses, on the first playthrough I was notably burnt with her and initially I thought to make a guide only for her, But when I heard that many people die 50-150 times die on TOM, I decided to write a guide for everyone, not essence.
The boss is the same samurai cyborg as our main character and in fact the battle is divided into 4 mini-phases, in each of them you will have to parry Hel's attacks, but after you have parried her blows and delivered your blow, you need to run to one of platforms on which Hel will jump, performing the wonders of acrobatics. It doesn’t sound difficult, BUT, if you miss one hit, you will die and start the boss fight from the very beginning, there are no checkpoints on the boss, unlike other bosses. And the boss of the curve and often the blows and hitbox of this blow are different, well, like the blow has already flown on you, but you didn’t die and were able to repel the blow and it works in both directions so that you can be killed by a blow that obviously should not have killed you. Under the HP bar of the boss there is a concentration of Sekiro, and from it you can see how many times you need to hit Hel hits to strike, with each phase the number of hits that need to be hit increases and the main problem is that if you hit at least once in timing (and they are wild here) everything, all concentration will be filled back and parry again. At the same time, the pressing timings are different, for example, in the first phase there are 3 hits with the same timing, and before the last hit, Hel swings holding the sword for about a second, and if you press earlier than necessary, we start parrying again
Now the main advice, whenever Hel attacks, her katana lights up in yellow, not bright, but it is noticeable, such a sharp flash, at this moment we press the attack button and parry the blow. Also advice, memorize her attacks in each phase in order to simply repel blows on the machine, keep in mind that now she will do two quick hits, then one slow, then three fast ones, you understand. And the last tip, when after hitting Hel falls off you, you need to get to her. Firstly, she throws waves at you while you run towards her, they (the waves) are just for show, she hits them very rarely, and her cross wave seems to specially go around the model of the main character. But after you deal 3 hits with her, she will stand in the center of the arena and start spamming you in waves, just run to the center of the arena and she stops spamming by jumping to another platform. And on two platforms there are two super jump boosters with which you can easily jump to the platform with Hel.
After four strikes, we deprive Hel of the head
After that, I advise you to beat her corpse with a katana, she will suddenly get up and continue to twist her cunning combos.
Mara
Well, there will also be sections with jumping on walls and using a hook, but there is nothing complicated there.
Сonclusion
The bosses in Ghostrunner aren't really that hard (although I wrote about the opposite in the beginning), but due to the one-hit death system, they can seem difficult and impassable. I hope this guide helped you if one of the bosses gave you trouble.
Well, in short, here are my best results for passing bosses)))
