Angry reaction from the Steam community to the departure of Metro: Exodus in the Epic Store

epic store
Yesterday publisher Metro: Exodus announced that from this day the Title will be sold exclusively from the site Epic Games for PC, although the game has been collecting pre-orders for a long time in Steam.
Many players, like myself Valvewere dissatisfied with the situation. Moreover, some Steam users began to “bomb” the ratings of the previous parts of Metro, leaving in their “reviews” the wishes of the failure of the novelty and the bankruptcy of the developers.

Greedy developers support Denuvo and the practice of releasing PC games exclusively on the Epic Games Store. Do not trust or buy anything from these plebeian developers.

Most of the messages are written quite emotionally, and their authors are not shy in their expressions. Mostly Russian and Chinese, as well as English-speaking users are dissatisfied.

In preparation for the release of Exodus, I reinstalled both Metros. Spent a few hours on Metro 2033 and uninstalled both games after learning that Exodus would be removed from Steam. I refuse to install another client.

There is a difference between competition and exclusivity. I will not support anti-consumer policies.

It is noteworthy that the head and co-founder Epic Games Tim Sweeney recently said that the company intends to avoid the introduction of public user reviews precisely because of such situations, when people do not rate the product, but try to directly influence the decision of the developers, “bombing” the rating of the project.
While the current "bombardment" has not had time to gain a large scale - both games have received approximately 200 negative reviews, however, Steam algorithms have already begun to notify that a lot of negative reviews have been noticed over the past XNUMX hours.

Metro: Exodus will release on February 15 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Those who managed to purchase the shooter on Steam will be able to play safely on the Valve site, receiving all the updates and the ability to buy all the add-ons without any barriers.
